I've got a Droid X2 and I love it -- the only problem I have is battery life. It dies after a few hours. I got it secondhand though so I think it's defective. Otherwise I love it -- now I can't imagine life without it!

I chose the iPhone because at the time it was actually the most cost-effective fancyphone option... And it does work well, but yeah, it is clear to me that Apple is quite evil.

And so is AT&T, which makes for a double whammy.

The device itself I am happy with. It's the company behind it that makes me go :(.

When ever the time comes that I decide to get a new fancyphone, I don't think I will get an Apple product, but we'll see.

My friend has an iPhone 4 on AT&T and I give him shit all the time . . . my Droid is on Verizon so I always have service (or nearly always) and his service is terrible. That and Android OS is SO much less controlling than Apple.

Well, I constantly hear bad things about AT&T's network, although I only have problems with it when I'm at my parents' house, which is apparently in a bad spot. Day-to-day, and even traveling, I haven't had issues.

I don't like AT&T. But then again, I don't like any of the cell phone companies. They're all fairly exploitive.

Exactly. I probably won't be renewing my contract after it expires. I'll just get a basic, cheap cell phone. I don't really need all the bells and whistles that come with such a high price tag. Dx
