Hey, I'm invading this thread. So yeah, quick question, anyone played the Planechase's deck? This is a pretty fun game, but the instruction manual in english is really badly written. Me and my friend we're playing the other day and we ended on one of my plane card that didn't make any sense in any way we could interpret the manual. And annoyed, we went on the official website and checked the french instruction, and that was much, much better and did way more sense. So yeah, where I'm going with that is, were we the only people having trouble with the manuals? We spent like 1 hours trying to figure out ONE card because of the contradictory manual.

PS : Sorry if this was discussed before, but I really don't want to read 59 pages of texts ... Pretty sure you can understand me on that xD

I've played it before, and we didn't have any issues. But there are different sets of planeschase cards so I may have never run into the one you were having issues with.

I've decided to challenge myself, and am currently trying to figure out how to make a 5 colour commander/EDH deck work.. x_x

I haven't tried the commander one, but I'm pretty sure my aformentionned friend has one. Isn't that the one with 100something cards that is supposed to be build for 1 - 3 or 1 - 2? I kind of forgot.

I'll check that one card we had issue with, I'm pretty sure it was from the Savage Aura deck or the Night of Ninjas one, because it's the only two I have xD

Still, the plane cards are pretty fun when you know how it works (properly anyway). They have pretty fun effect like all cards have prevent combat damage unless it's a werewolf and the other effect is it had werewolf to a card along with the other type. :D The one with every card is now black with deathtouch is pretty insane though, I think the effect is that you have first strike and something else xD

Commander is a 100 card format, where you're only allowed one of each card (bar basic lands) and you build it around your commander who is in his own special zone, rather than your library, where he can be summoned from as soon as you have the required mana. Then every time the commander dies it will return to its commander zone, and will cost an additional 2 to cast.
you get 40 life each, but 21 damage from a single commander will kill you.

It's quite an interesting format, if a little time consuming with the extra large decks and more health.
It's certainly a lot harder to build a deck that works well with the limitations of only one of each card x_x
