Shadow tossed the parts down toward the RV he was trying to fix. Chuckling at the comment that the girl had made. "Hey! I got an idea to keep rats out off the Rv.. We will put pictures of you around it they will be to scared to enter" He was edging the little girl on not to piss her off but to keep her mind off of the zombies. Shadow slid down the tree carefully jumping off the trunk and landing next to the girl.

His leg was looking worse it was bleeding more and you could see the pain in Shadows eyes although he wasn't showing it on his facial expression. "So do you know how to use a wrench?" He said smiling holding one out in front of her. "I could use a little help to make this go faster"

[Dawn]

"Puz-lesh, I know how to wield a wrench." Avalon takes the wrench that Shadow holds out, "They make really good weapons, didn't know that guy could scream so loud or how far one of these things go up." she grins and heads back toward the RV, twirling the wrench around her finger as she goes.

[Natsunaine]

"You are just not right in the head kid." he says chuckling following her to the Rv walking to the front of it and inspecting under the vehicles hood. "Hmm, Yep i got everything i needed" He began taking the parts he had replacements for out of the car first and handing them gently to Avalon unless they were to heavy then he just set them behind him"

"Hey go get me those pistons! and put them in here!" He pointed at the pistons he had pulled out. Shadow quickly grabbed his head the blood loss was making him dizzy and woozy he had to finish quick or he wouldn't make it to the hospital in time. "Damn.."

[Dawn]

"Nah, I'm just got a really strange sense of humor." Avalon gets the pistons from where Shadow left them and puts them where he says, "Plus, when you find out there's dead people literally knocking on your door, who can stay sane during that?"

Shadow frowned hearing her speak of the zombies he was trying his best to keep her mind off of it "So, Where you here all alone?" He was curious on how many more survivors are and he was again attempting to make he forget. He after a while he placed the last part into the Rv and walked towards the driver door "there almost done"

he looked up into the sky thinking to himself [I wonder if they made it yet].. This was weird for him, He had not known these people for long yet he cared so much about them.. "Better get going"

[Dawn]

"There's just me and Roz here. Roz's dad went back to London, something about his psycho girlfriend. Never met the woman but I heard she is crazy as hell." Avalon frowns, as she watches Shadow head for the driver door, "How you plan to start this bad boy up? Give it a pep talk?"

[Natsunaine]

Shadow smirked pulling his combat knife out looking over at Avalon "Oh, of course not I will just use my master key" he chuckled and bent down Wincing and letting out a loud groan from pain. He then started to gut the wires of the rv below the steering wheel and touching some wires together while twisting the key area. *VRROOOMM* the car sparked up to life the engine sounded brand knew and the hood shot off a bit of dust from sitting there so long.

"Vwalla!" He was making fun of avalon at this point. Teasing her by showing off he jumped into the Driver seat and closed the door looking over at the girl "Well nice knowing you" He laughed then edge the passenger seat door open.

[Dawn]

Avalon raised an eyebrow at Shadow hotwiring the car. Before she can climb into the seat, she goes back inside to get Roz who had fallen fast asleep. Bundling the tot up in a blanket that was sitting on one of the chairs, Avalon heads back out, pulling the door shut and climbs inside the car, placing Roz in the back seat.

Shadow pulled the car out into the street driving it around the block a few times "well i think it works" He said smiling and looking over at the girl "I guess we will just have to wait until the flare goes off " The fuel gage was slowly moving towards empty Shadow wasn't giving it any attention.

[Dawn]

"You better get gas before we end up having to push this monster," Avalon jabs at the gas meter, "Or more, you pushing this monster. Just pull over at the first gas station that isn't blown up yet."

[Natsunaine]

"Hmm?" he looked down at the gas gauge "shit.." he frowned and pulled in to the nears gas station he pulled out his combat knife and handed it to Avalon. "You know how to use this i hope" he grabbed the wrench he was using from his back pocket and slowly stepped out of the car locking it. there was no sign of zombies so far but that didn't stop them from showing up

He slowly began walking into the building being completely aware of his surrounds he walks to the door and attempted to pull it open. It was locked just his luck. he began pacing "I dont wanna break the glass the noise will attract zombies...Oh well" Shadow took the wrench and broke open the window making a loud crashing noise Shadow slipped his hand inside of the door of the building and unlocked it from the inside. "Gotcha" He smiled pushing the door open.. "Hello?? anyone in here??" he said scoping the area out it. He noticed outside that it was getting darker that was never good he stumbled around the store trying to find a source of light.

[Dawn]

"What do you think I am," Avalon yells at him, "Two years old? I know how to handle any weapon, dammit you old fart."
She glances out the window at the surrounding area, noticing that the sun was going down, maybe the zombies needed to sleep as well as humans do?

As shadow walked through the shop he could hear the sounds of groaning outside in the distance. Where they becoming more active?"Okay, Shadow you just need to find a light switch" He said to himself blinding feeling around the room his hand came upon a small pool of warm liquid "OH i hope that isn't blood Shadow"

[Dawn]

Hearing the sounds of groans coming from near, Avalon slids down a bit in the seat, the knife at the ready incase one of the zombies thought of being stupid and attempt to get in the door, "I feel like I'm in a tin of sardines." Avalon mumbles, "At least I get to skip school."

"Sounds like a plan." Ein said with a nod.There ought to be one close by.Hopefully.The blond shoplifted quite often in his teens,so walking into a store and taking whatever he wanted without paying would be no sweat.The clerk had probably already abandoned the store anyway.That,or he was dead.It wasn't about breaking the law anymore.It was about surviving.Ein noticed a metal Louisville slugger on the ground and picked it up.His ammo would run out eventually.He followed Chloe and Garrett.

"I hope Shadow's doing okay." Garrett said thoughtfully as they walked.The dark haired man made sure to look around every so often so as to stay aware of their surroundings. He's a professional.He'll be fine. Still,he wish he could have gone along.

Name: Rhys Brooks

Age: 23

Background/History: In his younger years, Rhys grew up mostly in the outdoors. He was in the Boy Scouts of America and played outside in the woods near where he lived almost every day with his 3 siblings. Admittedly he was a bit of a nerdy kid, but he was okay if not proud of that. "Brains are sometimes better than brawn," he knew. That was definitely the case when the outbreak occurred with ground zero nearby. While quickly separated from the rest of his family, Rhys kept a cool head and thought before doing anything. That is how he has survived and continues to survive. Today he lives with a small group of survivors as a scout, helping to keep track of the roaming hordes and keep supplies up. He is held in high esteem by his group, his word always being his bond. He still has hopes of finding the rest of his family some day.

Description: 6'0" Dark brown hair, dark brown eyes. Body is tone but not built. Keeps a rough short beard and medium to long length hair. Wears heavy but non loose fitting clothes, usually in dark colors or camo.

Strengths: Basic survival, Close combat (machete), bow and arrow, and crossbow. Silent movement and hiding

Weaknesses: Is a normal guy just like the rest of his small group.

Preferred weapon(s): Machete, crossbow
