often. I tend to use up my 3 I have when I use it
lol. Way too easy not to. I also love Kashimono. I
was lucky to recently find a seller for that gem too.
I need to pay more attention to items that come out

I might have a bit of a tough time. Hermes has been around the block before, so I doubt he'll let it go so easily. Just so as long as someone doesn't come along and be rude by offering way more than me before he responds, I'll be at least somewhat happy.

Argh, you have no idea how much that gets on my nerves. I absolutely cannot stand when you offer on an item, then someone else offers more before the seller can get back to you. If you've logged off for the night or whatever and the seller comes back and accepts the other offer without asking you for a counter-offer since they were offline, that makes me mad as well. Is it not courteous to hold an item that has other offers on it? Is it not rude to snipe another person's offer? Are my views on market etiquette completely outdated and obsolete?

No I agree with you though. I had that happen to me
a few times on items that were highly wanted on Ernya
before and as soon as I posted a offer, someone realized
the item was up for sale and had to offer a really high
one for the same item ; ; I hate when that happens.
Because it makes me feel kinda worthless. Especially
when the new offer is way more than the current accurate
price range of the item. I made the mistake on taking a
new offer for a item I was selling when someone the night
before posted a offer but they didn't respond to my
question about the item and by the next morning I forgot
about their offer and took the new one that was posted
that morning ; ; That is a mistake I won't make again.
Thank god I only did that once though. I try not to do
that at all. I hate offer snippers. They are kinda mean
and sad. Sad only because most of the time, on Ernya,
the offers are way too high and you are not in the mood
to reoffer that much on that one item. Especially when
the price of it is not that high. ♭

I once read a thread and at the time the seller said no so i offered.. apparently while i was reading they posted like mad and were working out a deal when i offered. Seller took my offer and i sorta felt bad =(

That's how it's getting here, especially with the auctions. I mean, sure, the items that have been going up for auction have been a little hard to find, but a little patience pays off. If you just wait for the right time to come, you don't have to throw that much money at it.

well i offered what the seller was asking for. the otehr person who was turned down at one point wanted to buy it for about 3k less then the asking price.. and since it was a year old di i felt the asking price was pretty fair oxo

Reyo- Aww that sucks. I really don't want to see
problems like that here as are on other sites.
This is my perfect site I can sit back and relax on
without worrying too much of anything.

I never really do auctions. They always get to be too
much for my tastes. But the Nommy one for some reason I
did on the spur of the moment. I feel a bit bad for doing
it since I bid so much for two really cheap items ; ;
But hey it will teach me a lesson on not doing auctions.
I might try one of the 1 au ones one of these days if
the item is what I am looking for. Since that seems to
be easy to do and no worry of going over too much. ♭

Another thing I hate is when a seller says to offer on an item, you offer, and the seller says simply "I'll keep your offer in mind" rather than just saying no, even when your offer was perfectly legit.

LOL Reyo I hate that too. I get that alot on Ernya in
some sellers threads. And when they do take a offer it
is someone who posts a really high price for it. I know
that getting as much currency for a item is something
that most people want and all but I hate when they end
up taking way too much for the item because then more
people might end up selling it for that price. And on
Ernya it is hard to raise funds there. Unlike here it's
really easy. But we get a bit less for posts there and
sometimes it's hard to find the right thread you are
comfortable to post in. ; ; I am still looking for that
thread there for me and I've been working on that for a
year now haha... I am so sad. ; ;

But back to MP... Ya I would like to know if they will accept
my offer or not. I had that happen to me recently but the
seller did something really nice. They said if no one posts
a new offer in a hour then I can have the item. Someone after
me even posted a offer on a different item and got the same
response for them. That is nice. Because this way we know
when we will get a yes or no to our offers and we will be
able to keep better track of the thread too. I wish more
did that. I personally don't like doing 'taking offers'.
They make me too uncomfortable. I tend to take the first
offer even if there is one that is for more posted later.
I know how hard it is to raise funds and I don't want to
bleed a person dry lol.

Though I am happy to say I have found a couple people just
like me before. It is so nice and refreshing to find a seller
willing to sell for low price guide or below price guide for
a item. Especially when it's a rare RIG item and you don't want
to bleed yourself dry trying to get it. ♭

Yeah, that's why I'm worried about the Bakaneko Hermes has. He's only taking offers, so it's entirely possible I'll be outbid rather easily. The amount I offered was kinda low-ball for what they've been going for recently, but the prices on them have been just outrageous.
