Haven't dealt with any magic before, but just about everything and anything else.
Though there was this one time I arrested this guy using alien tech that allowed him to control people of a certain blood type and called it magic...
Sorry. I probably should have introduced myself by now. Names Luna, I'm a member of the American's main Paranormal agency. My job is to handle anything that normal people aren't ready for and make sure that they don't find out about it until the human race is ready to handle it.

*pauses* Wait a moment... *taps side of head* My GPS isn't working, neither is the clock or Automatic Threat Assessment System... What's going on here?

... Uhm... Magic? -tilts head-

Does Magic cause electric based technology to stop working?

[Gallagher]

If it's supposed to, probably, yeah!

[Lunaryon]

Hmmm... That's not good. I'm now completely defenseless on a completely different continent, surrounded by people who have the ability to manipulate an energy I don't understand, I've forgotten my passport, and would rather not get deported, and I starting to get hungry.
Ummm... So... Where can I find food, and what do you do here?

[Gallagher]

Aha! Now that one I have the answer to! -points- Out that door, take a left, right, another left, down the stairs, aaand a left! Not the first left, but the second left. Got it?

Eh heh. This is a school. So, learning, I guess. Or screwing around... Probably mostly the latter.

Uhhh... I think I got that. I'd feel a little safer if you wouldn't mind guiding me.
So this is a school? Does this have something to do with the houses you mentioned earlier? Are they like dorms?

Pssh. I guess I can. Come on then!

Yeah. We're split up according to similar traits we have, so I guess we have a better chance at making friends or whatever. I don't know. I like everyone ever all the time. Except Ashy.

My house happens to have its rooms right by the kitchens.

And this Ashy was the other person who wandered up and was completely useless at helping me what so ever?
What are the houses, and what do they stand for?
Oh. I'm sorry. I've just been asking question after question haven't I?

Yes. The useless person was Ashy. She hates me.

The only house that matters is Hufflepuff! All the others are filled with jerks that turn away anyone that doesn't meet their standards. -grumblemutter-

hmm... so Hufflepuff is where the people who have the skill sets for more then one of these other houses are put? No that's not fair. That means you get all the really good ones. Those with like awesome destinies or something.

[Gallagher]

Humph. No, I can't say that's what it means at all.

Alright. There's three others. Slytherins are cunning, ambitious folks that do what they have to. Gryffindors are the especially courageous types that seem to like breaking the rules for a good time. Ravenclaw has all the smart, creative types. Some of the really odd ones, too, they've no issues taking in... Which I certainly approve of... But it's only if they meet their standards of intellect. Hufflepuffs like me the other houses brush off as stupid or cowardly just because we take all the others.

Wait, so you've got a dorm of Douches, a dorm of idiots who have no concept of self-preservation or ability to tell what a good idea from a bad idea is, and a dorm full of snobbish bookworms, and you're complaining about coming from the only house in here that sounds like it's going to get anything done?

I wouldn't say complaining, but right on every other account. I'm glad to see you have good taste!
