Hi, everyone. I'm back. *yay* I needed the time away to deal with family stuff- as some of you know, my cat Sassy was battling cancer. I wanted to spend as much time with her as possible while I could. I didn't want any regrets. Sassy lost her battle and I lost her on May 1st. I've been extremely sick (physically) almost every day since. She was the last of The Kittenz, my triplet black cats whom I adopted when they were four weeks old. They are all gone now. Although I miss them terribly, I'm glad they are in Heaven and not suffering anymore. And, I'm so grateful I was given the time I had with each of them. I'm extremely grateful for the last two months I had with Sassy. I was able to say "Goodbye" properly; something I didn't get with her brothers Scooter and Bear.

I did play some online games and post short blurbs on some online sites just to take an escape from reality, but I couldn't get into actual conversations because of my emotional state. I wanted to be able to come here and actually talk with folks, not just do hit-and-run posts. So, that's why I stayed away whilst getting my head screwed back on straight. I hope you guys aren't mad at me for not being around.

So, with that out of the way, what have I missed (in addition to missing you guys)? :3

I'm glad she is not suffering anymore.
That is a good idea to try to get yourself back
into place before coming back. I hope you are
doing alot better now.

With me, there was a ton that happened in a weeks
span of time ; ; Now things are starting to get
better I think... I hope lol. And you came back
in enough time because of the event going on.

@Kat: It's ok. I'm sorry to hear of the passing of Sassy. :( She lived a good life. Glad to hear you're doing a bit better now, missed seeing you around. Hope to see you around again soon :)

Currently tonight is kind of hard, my mom's 17yr old can (Rascal, who is my little buddy) is really getting bad tonight and may pass tonight or very soon. :( Mom is sitting on the chair holding him, even though he keeps trying to escape all the time to go hide away to die alone.

*hugs sai* Thanks. I'll miss the little guy when he goes. I dunno if he survived the night since I am still upstairs for a couple min before I head downstairs to start getting ready for work.
I'm glad I have work today if he did go. It'll help keep my mind off of it. Though Thursday, my day off will involve me being a bit depressed. He's my little buddy.
But, he is 17 and has lived a good life. That and I have my baby boy to take care of and be there for (Elijah- my cat who's 15 and diabetic).
That and we've been preparing for this for awhile because Rascal has been slowly getting worse for wear and beginning to go downhill.

sleep so he didn't suffer too much.

Yeah, I'm really glad that he has had a good life with us and it has been a long one (he turned 17 this year)
Sadly he is still in pain and is crying out at times. It's really disheartening sitting here typing and he's in a box by some water curled up and crying out. He seems to be trying to pee, so he probably has something wrong with his kidneys or he has an infection in his urinary tract. But, we can't do anything to help him. Don't have the money to take him to the vet, that and with him being as old as he is and he has been slowly going down for awhile, it wouldn't do too much to improve the quality of his life.
It's really hard right now. But, I do hope when he does pass, he is peaceful.

Yeah, it's hard I'll hear him meow in pain and it tugs at my heart. I know it does the same for my mom (Rascal is her cat)
It should be soon when he leaves and is no longer in pain.
