When I usually do up a basket, I have a few food items, a few 'toys' - like stuff you'd never need but wouldn't mind playing with, a book of some kind, and something you can actually use.

Plus I love to throw parties - real ones. Not just chips and pizza and pop - I love themes and having real food at my parties.
