☁☂Wow that is awesome Ginger. You sure sound very determined.~ I wish I had your ethusisam. God I can't spell ~_~ Yes the hard work will definately pay off when you can enjoy it~ I just hope the gas prices are reasonable when you get that far. Would hate for you to have to worry about that. And selling art is a awesome idea on how to live for awhile. God that sounds like a ton of fun right now. ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

☁☂ Hehe that is a way to think. Might work too. Of course I would end up forgetting what number of drinks I've had already haha. But at least I would be drinking something. ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

It sure is nice getting positive feedback about this! I keep getting negative comments about it. Living in a van isn't really acceptable to the masses, but in my opinion as long as it's a converted van with a shower/toilet, cooking/sitting area, and sleeping area(s), there isn't a reason it should be unacceptable. As long as the people in the vehicle are happy and comfortable with their lives it shouldn't matter what anyone thinks.
Yeah I'm hoping the gas prices don't skyrocket when I'm finally able to venture off into the unknown. I'd like to find a 12 passenger van that gets at least 20 m.pg. because anything under that could get quite costly in the long run. I'll probably join a forum site that deal with this sort of thing so I can learn from them and their experiences before I actually start the project. « ☼ ☾ ✰ » Semi-Active.

☁☂ That is a great idea Ginger. Sorry to hear that many don't accept it. I think if a person is happy with their life and where they are living that is all that matters and there are a ton of people who love doing things like that. And if it has all the ammenities a home has then who the heck cares! Good luck finding the van you want. I'm sure there is one out there. That is a good idea Keiko. I should probably do something like that. Would be better having papers all over the place with a list of things to do on them lol. At least it would be smaller and take up less space hehe. ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

For sure :)
I can't wait to meet these other faces on the road. I mean people with similar ideas and goals in life, though I don't think I have any major goals as of yet. I'm still young and I believe I should enjoy my youth before I'm stuck in an office somewhere, working all the time as I slowly deteriorate. Who knows where I'll end up on the trip. I might even score a job at an awesome bird sanctuary across the country and start my life in that area. « ☼ ☾ ✰ » Semi-Active.

☁☂ That would be awesome if you could get a job like that. I hope things all work out awesome for you when you do that. You have a great view on things though. I agree you should totally enjoy your youth while you have it. Everyone should~ ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

Unfortunately though, society pounds college and retirement into our heads and we're not able to live freely until we retire, and even then a lot of retired people don't have enough in their retirement to have fun and their families put them in assisted living. I wouldn't mind living day-to-day with the person I love off of the money we earn from selling our art and skills until we have stable jobs with pay that is a little more than minimum wage. Of course it would mostly be a seasonal thing unless we were to stay in the south for winter. I've talked to him about it and he's not interested at all. I had a feeling he would react that way. He isn't really the adventurous type and that worries me, because I'm going to try my hardest to be able to do this and when the time comes, he isn't going to be happy about it because he will feel like he's strapped down to where he is. He uses his family as an excuse not to move out of the area, but his family will always be here to return to.

☁☂Awww I'm sorry to hear that Ginger. I hope things are ok for you two when you get the chance to do this. I know how you must be feeling. I have the same thing but I am willing to move to another area to get away from family. He shouldn't be using them as a excuse not to be adventurous. ; ; ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ± ± : . : ± : . : ± : . : ±

Yeah, well, online I think you're going to find a different set of minds, at least on a site like this. Personally... I feel trapped by my own self. I have a job, it's all right, but I don't drive. Right now all I can think about... I want to start a savings account, or something, since I don't have any real bills I want to be able to set aside a little bit of money to at least give me a slight padding so that when I do drive, and when I do have things that I want I can allow myself a minute to breathe. I hate money... I mean, if it weren't money it would be something else, but it's just so... problematic. Personally even though I live with my parents and I don't have a terrible relationship with anyone in my family, I could do wiht getting away from them and the only person I really feel tied to at all is my best friend who lives hundreds of miles away... So. That doesn't really stick my location anywhere.

I still live with my parents since I have never had a good enough job to live on my own. Living in a van sounds interesting. There are worse ways to live.
