Laurel nodded, pushing some hair out of his eyes and let her hand rest on his cheek again, "You really do have a lot of freckles." she noted as she surveyed them all, "It's a genetic enhancement, right?"

Laurel's eyes widened in shock, "What?!" she demanded, "But you have so many? It has to be some sort of enhancement!" she retorted, poking his cheek.

A small smirk almost began to appear on Nic's face. But before she could tell for sure, he leaned in and gave her a quick kiss first. "... Sure," he replied.

Laurel needed no further invitation as she kissed him softly and started to lean in.

Meanwhile Frei had taken a call during the movie and had seemed a bit upset as she settled back on Raven's lap. She stared at the screen but didn't seem to be watching it anymore.
