Did I mention, I'm getting to that awkward time when I DON'T KNOW WHETHER TO REFER TO MYSELF AS HE OR SHE. On the internet, I mean. Fun stuff >.>
And my friends are still tossing "feminine boy", trap, and reverse trap jokes at me. It's actually pretty funny, tbh. STONEWALL WAS A RIOT

Yeah, you mentioned it. Truth be told I've had that uncertainty with you for a while.

IMO the way you talk is pretty neutral, possibly even slightly on the masculine side in the interactions I've had with you, and your avatars tend towards ambiguity as well. I suppose it might make a difference what subject matter is under discussion.

No need to be sorry; it's an interesting subject to discuss. :3 I've heard of some of those terms, others I have not. Looks like I know what I'll be looking up later. As far as labels go, I usually just stick with the label of "me".

Ok. Pink. Ew. -headdesks multiple times-
My mom has always been confused at my hatred of pink. I had a pink and purple era when I was, what...four, and then looking back, I wonder why I didn't vomit skittles back then. Told myself I'd never get into the whole red and black trend, but...yeah. -shrugs- Romance stuff...to be honest, I don't do movies in the first place, and romance stuff often seems awfully sappy to me. Ah well. The occasional humor/romance (like The Pirate Balthasar) is okay. First time I heard Justin Bieber, I could've sworn he was a girl, I kid you not. Never was interested in his songs Not my style. Hate people who try to force the Bieber-fever stereotype on all girls. I mean, I don't hate him; I don't hate too many famous people anyways, but...meh. I actually kind of the like the first Twilight book. Second was crappy. Third was better than the second. Fourth was...eh. Haven't seen the movies and don't really intend on watching them. I hate it when people bash on the series. It never did nothing to you, seriously. It's not too bad. "Latest teen boy hottie". Uh.........I honestly don't even know who that would be. Ha. Haha. Haaaah. I'll stay with being a fan of non-existent people, tha you very much. My friend and I were talking about this today. I figured, if her friend can describe himself as a lesbian, then I suppose I could describe myself as a gay guy trapped in a female body. Sort of. ...Yeah. STONEWALL WAS A RIOT

That's a bit hard when you're in a conservative-as-shit school and people'd look at you funny.

Yeah, for now, I'll just keep it to myself and Trisphee. My parents don't exactly get it.

I guess I'm kinda lucky. My grandma, who pretty much has been a mom to me most of my life, never tried to force me to be girly. She accepts me for who I am for the most part, and I think that's why I was able to grow into the person I am today.
My school, on the other hand....yeah. Elementary school was fun. Had to talk to the counselor about why I was fine playing the "right" way with the dolls and kitchenette set one day and then insisted on things "too boyish" for me the next day, like kickball and Hotwheels. Or why I'd be fine with dressing like a proper little girl one day, then looking like a boy the next. THat went on from kindergarten till third grade....didn't see what the big deal was then, and I still don't. 9_9 Luckily, it was only the teachers. The kids around me, especially my friends, didn't see anything wrong with it. Some thought it was weird, but I didn't get any hating for it.

As a girl you get away with it more easily. Boys have it harder. There are some stereotypically-girl things you can get away with as a boy, but others will draw all the wrong kinds of attention.
My son is four. He's pretty interested in boy things like cars and trains and power tools, but he also likes playing kitchen and he's a big fan of the Lego Friends collection, and I keep having to tell him "no" when he says he wants Twinkle Toes shoes. (Because they're expensive!) As his parent, I think it's great that his interests are so diverse. But I do have a fear of him having to deal with the kind of bullying I got when I was a kid. I'll stand up for him, for sure, because I WANT him to be free to choose what he likes, but that doesn't mean I'm still not going to be heartbroken if it happens. My husband and I both fall out of the male/female dichotomy. He and I are a perfect mesh of both male and female. everyone has aspects of both inside of them, it is all in whether you choose to embrace it or not.

I, myself, do not like to be referred to as either gender online usually either, unless it's some jerk trying to say I'm homosexual or something, pretty much all of my cosplays have have been crossplays and I liked boy things like professional wrestling back when it wasn't cool for a girl to like it. I mean, back when I was a kid, things that were for boys were strictly for boys, that seemed to change to more accepting for girls to like boy things when I grew to be a teen, but it didn't seem to change much for boys.
So, you'll find support from me no matter what. Formerly known as Massy Deacon
