I pause in my search, feeling a thump-thump-thump vibration through the floor, as if a huge mutant monster had gone gallumphing off. Heading back to the door, I see the "guard" heading down the hall. I don't particularly care why, all that matters is this my chance to head back to the lab...and maybe beat Gall to a pulp...I head off at top speed.
