Well, I do get to try food we have since they want us to know what's in the food and know the food. But, I'm bored atm since I started training on cash and since we don't have customers coming in to order food, I'm standing at the register attempting to put in orders and think of some off the top of my head. Today was my first day on the register and I messed up a couple of times. But, it was day one.
Though, I hope I'm not on line when we open. I keep attempting line, and I still get flustered. I think I'll be better off with the register. ^^

and I got the hang of it after the first day.
It was alot of fun on the register, even though
I had to deal with jerks half the time. Because
when they first started me off on register.. it
was during lunch hour... and it was my very first
time ever using one.. LOL That made for a ton of
fun... haha

Yeah, today was my first day. So, tomorrow I'll probably be a bit better after a few orders I'd put in if I'm doing the register for training. I don't mind dealing with the jerky people. I have experience with a lot of different people and if they're really jerks, I won't let it get to me and I'll just have a smile and remember that they'll get their karma somepoint.

I hate working register. It always crashes. Each one gets about two crashes per shift. -_- The scanner on one doesn't work right.

times I had it, but it wasn't easy with my
managers getting on my case because I was
going too slow... when it was my first time
and I was doing it during the busiest time
of the day lol. Gotta love idiots.

mmmhmm. Gotta love the idiots, but they make the day interesting sometimes.
I just have to remember a few things tomorrow, and I'll be good. That way, when we do open and if I'm on cash, I'll be good to go. :)

I know what you mean Lio. They do get to you after
awhile. Especially if all your managers keep harping
you for doing your best and yell at you when they are
the ones who make mistakes ~_~ I try to pride myself
in doing everything right the first time, so I barley
ever made any mistakes doing register. I did make a
few, but it didn't help that the customer kept on
changing their damn mind or telling me something about
their order after I already put it in the computer~_~

Hence why I don't go crazy atm in life, keep thinking positive. ^^ I enjoy the people I work with. I like the people that will be opening the store with us. :) (my fellow trainees)
My head was spinning after awhile looking up at the screen and putting the cold stuff and wrapping the damn things during training. I was so happy when they decided to let us take a break and clean stuff up and put me on the register to play around for the last 30 min or so of my shift ^^"
I'll see how I survive tomorrow. I just have another couple of days this week, some next week and then we open the week after ^^"

I always try to never make a mistake, and rarely do. I know my job inside out. Problem is when people bring in other factors and forget to tell me.
