Water will clean the ring nicely. Maybe we can just pour water on it bu putting it under a waterfall. *Stops rain and makes waterfall to add fresh water to duckpond.*

Good theories, all. BTW, Crys cleaned the ring up a long time ago. And since she's in control of it (and even named it) you'll have to talk to her about what to do with it.
