You don't get aurum for using them, you get either rations or waters based upon which you want and what it is (ruby, treasure, or ruby-treasure).

I know this was talked about a little earlier (and in here, I think), but would it be possible for the ruby, treasure, and rubytreasure items to be equippable on our avatars? >w<

Cause I know I'd love to equip them on my avatar as they're pretty darn tootin' awesome. >w<
