Elvara went about doing everything that she needed to do before the night was over. She went and got final details from the king which included a map and the object in question. After that Elvara went to the storage and packed a bag of every herb that she could think that would be usefull.

Fallowing after that she packed a bag of dried meat and breads, filled cantains with water. Next was the fun part. Heading down to the armorie she sharpened her weapons, fixed some knives and she was on her way back to her room with everything being carried behind her by servents.

As she reached her room she looked about not noticing Zek until she looked at the roaring fire and saw him sitting in a plush chair among a clean once again perfect room. After the servents placed the bags where they were told they left and Elvara closed the door.

Elvara then walked over to where Zek sat and sitting on the arm of the chair she swung her feet over placing them on the other side of the chair to rest on the other arm. She then crossed her arms and rested her head on them "Hello dear..." She said softly

He had returned back inside about the time the room was done with being cleaned. That was faster then he expected, then again he wasn't sure how long he had been out there telling the dragon to shove it or keep his comments to himself. Either way she didn't seem to be back yet so he just sat there waiting for her to return, sure he could go looking for her but that would take quite a bit of time.

It wasn't like he was lost in thought or anything but he still wasn't expecting her to to just hop onto the chair and keep him there from how she was sitting. "Well hello to you too." It was something he was going to have to get use to, over the course of their trip he was use to her calling him anything but dear that was certain. He could live with this change though.

"Not sure how you were planning to get back to the mainland.. but I conned a dragon into helping to make the trip faster." He shrugged a little it was pretty much where he had vanished to all this time and why he was a little in thought. He didn't personally want a dragon or to be called a rider as the beast put it.

Moving a little he placed a hand lightly under her chin before getting in a light kiss. "though we can still take a boat if you want, not everyone handles flying well.. or Vaden's method of transportation for that matter..."

Elvara laughed a little as she pulled back from the kiss. Yes that was true Vadens method was a little weird and she didnt care for it but the thought of flying made her smile "That would cut some time from the trip" She said "Though not really that much" She said sighing softly.

"Apparently we have to take the statue to a wizard in the southern mountains....father said he could seal it away in time" Elvara said looking to him "Some wizard named Mizuki" She said shrugging her shoulders for some reason that name seemed to stick out in her head. Then her eyes grew a little "Do you think its the same wizard Mizuki from the eastern war?" She asked tilting her head.

The storied of the war were all around even a centery after the battle happened. Tales of the two warriors that brought the army down in full swing was a story often told to childeren for a bed time story.

He blinked a little listening to her as she mentioned it before questioning the name. "Er.. could be? He was a elf wasn't he? Odds are if nothing killed him then he'd still be alive." That was food for thought for sure. "Still I doubt its that one I mean .. come on that was.. some time ago now." He was sure it had to be someone else with a similar name.

Though another thought crossed his mind as he smirked a little. "If it is him I can tell Vaden I finally met someone around his age." He started laughing at the thought of it. Not that the age part was to be laughed at most elves didn't live that long anymore just from illness or some other random cause. But he found it funny in its own way.

"Well .. either way we'll have to figure it out when we get there. But we have to get there first." The sooner they left here the better time they would make, and the less chances Ruth would have to fly off. Though he did think on something else seeing as she mentioned where the area was.

"Well.. once we're to the mainland we do have a few options... " He seemed to not want to speak up on this. "One we go there by foot or rather by horse until we can't any further... or.. " Pausing a moment he sighed before speaking again. "I go find a damn drake and tame it...short process and they can carry at least two people and supplies and not be nearly as annoying as Ruth." He prayed she said they could just go by foot.

Elvara sighed at the thought. Yes they could do it both ways though this was something she wrather wanted to do fast. Finding a drake and training it would add another two days to the trip, if that was the case they might as well take the boat "I vote horses and foot" She said to him.

"According to the king he resides near the base of the mountains with his partner" She spoke tilting her head "Though he didnt say who said partner was" Elvara said with a nod of her head "Besides..." She said leaning down a little giving him a kiss "This way time and the trip is ours"

He was grateful for that, he left off the part that training a drake was nothing. The beast just had to accept the bonding process. Though maybe he should look into it after this little journey... or he could keep avoiding it instead of giving his mother hope he was trying to do something productive.

"Who cares who his partner is" He said shrugging. "His business not ours, we'll be there at most for whatever amount of time it takes for him to seal this little statue. After that we'll be on our way and your father cant complain anymore." He smiled a little before agreeing with her from what she said. "So long as everything goes accordingly .. yes" Though they did have rather rotten luck with said things going over smoothly..

Elvara nodded her head knowing exactly why the male had said what he did. It was true the both of them seemed to have rotten luck when it came to travels like that but hey what could you do right? With that thought Elvara shrugged her shoulders "Either way...we leave in the morning since the time is late' With that she moved off of the chair making a show of wiggeling her ass in Zeks face before she walked off to the bed.

"Also..." Elvara said as she sat down upon the bed "We have to travel far south...like far far so do you think the big red could take us to the border of the southern wolf clan?" She asked tilting her head "I mean its a days walk from the shore but its on the way back to you home land" She spoke almost to herself as she got undressed and ready for bed

To admit he was half tempted to swat at her for her little tease was a understatement. Though for now he figured he'd behave. She was probably still over thinking on the trip ahead of them. Though he didn't think this should be too hard, then again he had been proven wrong before on many occasions. "Yeah.. today didn't last long." He sighed a little, it felt like he had done nothing today though he knew he did.

"big red.. oh Ruth? Tsk he'll complain but that's normal. If he gets his scales in a bunch then I can get one of the riders to get us that far at least. I think we have a few that switch out patrolling that area so it'll work out either way." He shrugged a little before thinking it over. "Though I doubt that Ruth will complain too much so long as I'm not the one asking it." It was very apparent that the red dragon and Zek had more then a few squabbles to sort out, then again it wasn't his dragon so he hardly cared.

Standing he finally walked over to where she was as she finished undressing before he moved a hand to rest on her lower back as he kissed her. "things will work out, stop worrying we have to have some good luck sometime." He waited there a moment before speaking again. "So should I leave to my own room so I'm not spoiled when we have to sleep outside again?" The last part was more of teasing her, personally he hardly minded sleeping with her and he really would miss it when they couldn't sleep like this for .. who knew how long the trip would take.

Elvara lightly hit his arm with that statement. "You know where you should be" She said with a little smile before crawling into the bed slowly so she brushed him on the way before she found her place among the pillows that now surrounded her. "Or..." She began with her eyes falling half closed "Do I have to order you to my bed?" She asked with a little tilt of her head.

In truth the blood bond was something different and the fact she more or less had controle over Zek was something Elvara had to get used to. So with this little banter it reminded her of the conection they had, that alone put a soft smile on her face and she spoke before she realized it "All though my love for you should be enough to get you here..." Elvara said the words rolling off of her tongue like silken honey on a hot day.

"Oh I do huh? I dunno you sometimes change your mind on the spot." He was just picking at her a little though, he hardly meant it. Though she was known to change her mind when her mood suited it. Though for now he hardly thought that such a thing was going to happen. Her next words he smirked at a little before following up on them "Oh yes do order me to bed my lady..."

That was a tease and a hint of encouragement for such a thing. Not that he had to be ordered but he was trying at least to get use to the fact that she could. He should be more bothered by it then he was seeing as he never was one to take orders and now he had no choice from her. Though.. it was her so why should he really be bothered by it at all.

Smirking a little at her as he was going about undressing enough to be comfortable if he was going to get any sleep at all. "that is true, you don't have to order me to get me to do anything for you. Bed or otherwise." He spoke as he moved to be over top of where she was laying before leaning down to kiss her and then moving to the side to pull her close to him. "I think I'm only sad that we won't get to sleep like this when we leave tomorrow.. "

Elvara moved and layed into Zek the moment he laid back into the pillows pulling her close. "True" She said but gave a little shrug "Though just because we dont have pillows or a soft bed dosent mean I cant sleep on or beside your still" She said placing a kiss to the chest below her lips before setteling her head down once more.

"Besides...with the trip this time I grabbed some bed rolls" She said closing her eyes with a little yawn "That will at least be better then pure ground" Elvara said with a little nod of her head.

With the warmth of Zek and the blankets pulled around her Elvara grew tired fast. She wanted to stay awake a little longer memorizing this feel for it wouldnt come again for some time but everything around her was causing her to grow more tired as the seconds went by. Soon her breathing evened out and Elvara fell asleep.

He nodded a little listening to her make a true enough point. "True, wasn't sure if you were going to try and keep face when we went back or not. You know last time we traveled we were hardly on good terms and I recall nearly being slaughtered a few times." He was just teasing her a little, though the first time they met she did try to kill him. He would have let her stab him if she had landed the hit. It was almost funny seeing as then he didn't have any idea who she was and he still never bothered to really try and fight her.

It wasn't too much longer till he noticed she seemed to fall asleep. Today had probably worn her out. Thinking about the trip and preparing for it. She worried too much he thought, but maybe he didn't worry enough for all he knew. Over all things didn't sound too complicated, fly back and get near the area where they had to be. From there travel find the wizard have him do what he needs to do to the little statue and then be about their way. It all seemed simple enough...

The morning came to early and Elvara groaned as she moved her head hiding it from the rays of the sun. She didnt want to get out of the comfort and warmth just yet but Elvara knew that she had do. Moving carefully she sat up and stretched sore muscles and cracking stiff joints from the night before. After that she moved carefully out of the bed so she didnt wake Zek.

As Elvara got out of the bed she yawned and headed for a bath seeing as how it was going to be her last warm one for a while she wanted to make the best of it. After a while Elvara stood in the door way of the bathroom dripping wet with a towel in hand drying the side of her head.

This is when Elvara looked over to Zek and gave a little smile as the male still seemed to be asleep "ZEK!' She yelled out and watched with a laugh as the male jumped up and all but fell out of the bed. When he sat up and looked to her with a glare she smiled moving the towel to hold it in one hand "Get up...we leave in an hour" With that she walked over to a table that had his and her own clothes laid out for the day and she began to dress.

Sleep was one thing he could do very well, though it came even easier now that he had lost the immortality he once had. Though there were a number of things he could do well... if he let on to being talented to anything was another story. Though whatever sleep he was getting was disrupted by Elvara as she yelled at him nearly causing him to fall out of the bed, and have heart failure in the same go. Of course she got a glare for that as she went on speaking that they had to leave soon, he was too busy trying to make sure his heart was still beating after that stunt.

"You know heart failure last I checked was fatal." He muttered a little as she went to get dressed and got a bit of a smirk from her. She did it on purpose and he knew it. Sighing a little me moved to get out of the bed, not that he wanted to. Who knew how long this part of the trip would take, he just knew they had it to do. Plus it was still on his mind that he would have to return to his own homeland sooner or later and face up to duties he had been neglecting this whole time...

Maybe he could put them off just a while longer, the last thing he wanted to do was return home with news out that he wasn't part demon anymore. That would end well he could see it now. Avoiding conflict would be next to impossible. Yeah, he would rather avoid going back home at all costs. Though he had more pressing matters on his mind then just that, the main one being what was going to happen when this quest was over?

But for the moment he pushed that thought to the side and acted like nothing was eating away at his thoughts as he went to wash up at the least. Anything to get awake, even after the near heart attack he could have managed to go back to sleeping again. Once out and dressed he watched Elvara for a moment who seemed to be checking over a few things. "So whats our plan then? Aside from dealing with a red lizard to get us there faster."

There was a number of things he could have said, this guy they were seeking he could always refuse to help them, or send them off on some other wild chase. Something told him this was not going to be as easy as she had made it sound of giving the artifact to this wizard and then being on their way.
