DK- I like the idea of doing a kitteh album of Sassy- but she doesn't look like my Lil Miss Sassy Pants anymore. The right side of her face is swollen-that tumor got real big, real fast >:[ and she is losing weight quickly. I have photos of her with her brothers - I think I'll use those. I made the mistake of doing some video of Bear the day before he died- and I didn't realize that the Bear I was seeing with my eyes did not match the Bear that really was by that point. All three of The Kittenz (their collective nickname) were SUPER tiny when I adopts them (4 weeks old), but they grew to be HUGE! Bear was 23lbs at his normal weight. He was 12lbs when he died. Scooter was 18-20lbs and Sassy was usually around 15lbs but did get up to almost 18lbs after we moved from a small apartment to a large house where she and the boys had tons of room to run, play, and exercise. Now she's down to 11lbs.

I'm sorry to hear about your laptop :c I know I'd freak out if I lost my phone, or even knew where it was but couldn't get to it for weeks >.<

So, Niles is a township? It sounds similar to where I live, only maybe your town is bigger. We have 400 residents here (not counting the free-range cows and the packs of deer that are always around my house). We have a state highway that runs right through "downtown" (LOL), and that's the only place where we have commerce. We have two restaurants (one's sign says "RESTAURANT", the other's sign says "EAT"... I am not joking), a little grocery market, a tiny library, a tiny post office with ONE employee, and about half a dozen antique shops. That's it. No schools, no more bank, no more gas station, no police station, no nothing really LOL We aren't even big enough to have a single stoplight ROFL I'm old, so I like it- but DAMN I feel bad for the kids who are forced to move up here to live with their grandparents.

Yea when my tom cat died he lost weight and had fur loss ;n; my xboyfriends mom left him outside.. he was gone for a week and when he came back she REFUSED to take him to the vet... and so he died.. ;o;

I used photo's from what i could find.. have one around the time I was 13-14ish.. made it look like he was pointing a toy gun at me xD then I was pointing one at him =w= he was the banker and I was the robber ^^, Oh what I did when I was bored back then.. had no cable

Niles.. Dunno the population but it seems bigger then Cortland where I used to live. Its not as bad as Warren but it can be bad when drug dealers move in next to ya =x= good thing i keep to myself..

Cortland was becoming a bad place to live so we moved closer to where jobs are and stuff.. no luck on jobs but hey... this place is better then where we were ouo things actually get fixed around here

That sounds rough, Kiddiss. It sounds like things are okay for now. Really, it all comes down to quality of life for the animal. If you are prepared to look after her and she still seems comfortable ane is enjoying life then there's no reason not to spend time with her.

My dog died at 13. (Quite old for the breed he was). The vet suspected it was probably stomache cancer after we did an ultrasound. He lost a bunch of weight over a period of a couple weaks and all but stopped eating. I was feeding him "soup" as well, cooked carrots, chicken, chicken broth and water. There were treatment options assuming we confirmed that it was cancer but as his age him even surviving the test was doubtful, and when I asked the vet if he would recover much, I was told he wouldn't be getting much better than he already was, which wasn't good, so we let him go.

Mom took me out afterwards but when I got home I started putting everything that was his away because I didn't want to be looking at it days down the road but not be able to do anything about it. I have a painting of him though, that hangs over the TV, it's from his show days, and I found it helped. I hung another photo of him in my room. He was with me for 13 years and while I didn't like looking at things like his bed or his food bowl, I still wanted to have his presence around. :).
