Black Butler, also known as Kuroshitsuji, is an amazing manga/anime by Toboso Yana-sensei. The character Claude from the second season of the anime is a spider demon and is the butler of the character Alois Trancy. Alois is a selfish, egotistical, psychotic brat in black short shorts... and you will love him. Claude is cold, creepy, and knows how to flamenco dance.
As for why I had a scorpion butler... I thought it fitting for there to be a scorpion man living in a castle made of sand. Plus, I'm the Poison Knight. I thought it fitting that I would have something venomous serving me... and then Lucid had to kill him with her BFS.

@Lucid: owo
I take it you love strawberry-flavoured pocky more than the chocolate-flavoured one? owo @Reyo: That actually sounds pretty interesting. owo Or at least the way you described Claude and Alois Trancy made them seem interesting. >w> Then why not a diamondback rattlesnake instead? It'd fit in just as well as a scorpion... >w> And diamondback rattlers are WAY cuter and awesomer!! <3 owo You're a Poison Knight? owo I don't see that in your title-under-your-name thing. >w> Erm...BFS? Huh? owo; ![]() I'm blunt and direct. I like to lurk and observe.

Oh, Black Butler is amazing. The main character is Ciel Phantomhive. He's a twelve year old Earl and owns a toy company. He has five servants living with him in his vast mansion. There's Mey Rin, the ditzy, clumsy, bespectacled maid. Then there's Finny, the air-headed gardener with a bad habit of forgetting to close the lid on the weed killer tank. There's also Bardroy, the chef who turns most food into charred toxic waste using a flamethrower. There's Tanaka, who mostly just sits around drinking tea and chuckling. Lastly, there's Sebastian, the amazing super-butler who makes fantastic desserts, keeps his young master on schedule from day-to-day, and, oh yeah, he's a demon. Ciel made a pact with him; in exchange for Ciel's soul, Sebastian will obey Ciel's every command until the time when Ciel has had revenge upon those responsible for the murder of his parents.
I thought a scorpion would be cool with that awesome barbed tail. I suppose a rattlesnake could work, though. We have lots of snakes here in Florida, so I guess I just figured that was a bit too common and expected. This is a BFS.

Well, now I get the title of the manga/anime. owo
And that still sounds interesting. >w< We don't have many wild snakes up here in Canada. >w> I think it's too chilly for them, especially during the winter season. ;w; *loves, loves, loves snakes* <3 owo That is definitely a huge ass sword. And I take it BFS stands for big f***ing sword or something? owo *wonders what it would be like if BFS got replaced by HAS* :ninja: ![]() I'm blunt and direct. I like to lurk and observe.

Oh, trust me, it is. The English release of the manga just finished up the Circus Arc. I think next is the Murder Mystery Arc if I remember correctly. It's up to volume 8 in English, but I read up to volume 11 in scanlations before the English release began. The first season of the anime has been released in English already, and the second season is being released in English on April 3rd.
Yeah, snakes like to live where it's nice and warm. Seeing as it doesn't get too far below freezing down here on the coldest days of the year, reptiles love it here. No, it doesn't work like that. If you want to change a trope name, take it up with the trope-namer. It does stand for Big Fucking Sword, though.

I'll check out if there's a Japanese version of the anime or not, but if I can't find one online...then too bad, I ain't watching the English dub. I don't like that stuff. >w>
Mmmyah, I know. >w< But I still love snakes cause they're so freaking adorable and awesome!! :'D <3 Aww, man. :'( And erm...what's a trope? owo;; ![]() I'm blunt and direct. I like to lurk and observe.

That comes in part from "BFG" back in Duke Nukem does it not? the "Bio Force Gun" (to name it properly) which of course, no one actually used. I'm sure the developers were well aware of that when they chose the abbreviation. The BFG appears in the DOOM movie too, and The Rock (Dwayne cant-remember-his-last-name) says what everyone is thinking. ;)

The home page for the site explains what a trope is. BFG is there too but this would be what Reyoki was talking about.

Yes, I do love the strawberry ones more! o3o but sometimes it's fun to eat a strawberry and a chocolate at the same time! :3
In addition to Reyo getting me addicted to tvtropes yet again, a BFS is a "Big F-ing Sword." XD I totally just spent 2 hours on tvtropes instead of submitting this post. XDDDD This signature intentionally left blank.
