The Book of Eli | #1 | ||
In a post-apocalyptic America where the once-picturesque countryside has become a desolate and violent wasteland, one man (Denzel Washington) fights to protect that sacred tome that could hold the key to the survival of the human race in this futuristic thriller from filmmaking duo Albert and Allen Hughes (From Hell and Dead Presidents). Gary Oldman, Mila Kunis, and Ray Stevenson co-star in the Warner Bros. production. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

I absolutely love that movie! I'm such a huge fan of post apocalyptic stuff. *w* That movie reminds me a lot of the Fallout games as well. xD
I think the ending is pretty surprising if no one spoils it for you before you get to see it. C:

I really loved that movie! It was so deep, and the ending was so surprising, but also intense. Just a wonderful movie.

The movie wasn't quite what I was expecting, and had a few good twists. Despite the religious overtones, I was happy that it wasn't in-your-face preaching, and the overall message was definitely a good one. And Gary Oldman makes an excellent villain no matter what he's in. <3

I remember that...
It took to long to finish it that I don't think I even saw the ending.. Or rather, I did, but only the credits... I thought it was an amazing movie, though, from what I saw. I think it was 3 hours or something though... If I got the chance to see it again, I'll have to duct tape myself to a chair so I don't leave ><;

I need to re-watch it. It has been a while since I have watched it. Mostly caught bits and pieces.

I *really* enjoyed that movie! I love Denzel Washington (he plays a get hero) and Gary Oldman (the man is seriously like an acting chameleon, and is at his best as a be guy!).
I soooo did not see that ending coming, and I'm pretty good about figuring out the end of a movie by at least the middle of the movie, if not earlier. It drives my husband-creature nuts LOL Hi!
