Angelic Layer was done by Clamp and it's about pretty much battle dolls.
Angel beats well that ones a little hard to explain without ruining it.

I'm not sure about Guilty Crown yet
The series isn't over yet, so I have no idea if the ending is any good or not
But my friend tells me the latest episodes have been really frustrating ><;
I haven't had time to keep up with it lately

How long are each of them?

Um only 1 season each angelic has 20+ and beats has 13 episodes I think thats including the special but I'm not sure.

Angelic isn't on netflix sadly but beats is. but yeah if you tell me what types of anime you like i can usually give good recommendations. I used to be a dj and worked for a Anime and videogame online radio station.

Yeah I go through phases too.

I love anime for awhile then I'm bored with it for a few months
then I find another good one and get obsessed
then get bored for another few months
