Mizuki lokked up before he raised his hand and placed it on Thalions cheek as the other male peered down at him "I dont plan on getting beat up as you so put it until the final blow" He said with a nod of his head "So in the time we have we have something that we need to do" Mizuki said with a nod of his head before he removed his hand "One...I am coming to training tomorrow and you are going to teach me how to fight better" He said with a smile.

At the look that Thalion gave him Mizuki sighed "I have magic but when it comes to close range im all but fucked" He said with a shrug of his shoulders "And...I dont want to loose you again" He said remembering that Thalion told him he had died. Mizuki needed to be there not only for Thalion, Neimi or Raden but for himself.

He nodded a little, though he prayed he never remembered he needed to train him in magic. He didn't want to see how that turned out. "I can't promise that.. i have a few scouts I need to train and that requires field work." He sighed lightly, though they didn't have to go out too far for that. "Pff getting you better with a sword will be easy, least you can fight. It'd be harder to teach you the bow or something bulky."

"Don't worry about it, we'll get you whatever training you need. Who knows it might be something good for the trainees to watch. They know your a good fighter but it might teach them something either way." It was a thought, they might learn even the strong fighters needed to have a range of weapons at their disposal. "I'm .. not going anywhere." He paused a moment when he spoke, he wasn't sure he could keep that promise in the long run. But to now say it would give away something was wrong.

Mizuki sighed a little as Thalion kept speaking. In truth he was geting tired of the way Thalion spoke. So now was a good enough time as any "You act as if there is no hope for us" He said thim adverting his gaze from Thalion. Maybe it was ture that they had no hope in wining the battle that was to come but Mizuki always had hope for everything to change "And besides...feild work is great for you to train as well" He said before moving and sitting up.

This is when Mizuki sighed to himself closing his eyes and hunching forward "Everything happens for a reason...we are ment to win this battle I know we are" He said softly 'I just need others to believe the same thing as I do" He said slightly 'Though that maybe to much to ask" Mizuki then shook his head "Either way you are learning magic and to controle it even if I have to tie you down"

He flinched a little. "No thats not how I meant it!" Had it really come out that way? "I more of meant that it might give the trainees motivation, I seem to be unable to provide that to them, they aren't like my other groups that just took to everything and trained in the spare time they found." He missed groups like that, though these were young still they had time to improve so long as the war didn't claim them.

"Thats true.. It'll be a good challenge to keep a small group undetected.. or deal with if they are detected." He already planned on them failing at the stealth part for the first go, but that was to be expected. No one was perfect at scouting the first go around. "I almost feel sorry for any of the other side.. I don't think their aim is all that great just yet." This mean a killing blow was likely to not happen right off the bat.. though if things got too out of hand he was going to be there anyway.

He was about to say it wasn't that much to ask before Mizuki quickly said something about magic. His ears dropped a little before he made a slight face at the thought. "don't you have others you need to train? Heh.. " Any excuse was a good one to avoid this training, he hardly doubted that Mizuki was going to let him get off with that but still.

Mizuki smiled at Thalions attempt before he moved to sit in the others lap. His legs were bent on either side of Thlions hips. Grabbing Thalions hands he held them tightly in one hand "Riku could do that to...besides" He said "Your better to learn from me' He said bringing Thalions hands up to hold them over his head "What if you were bond and tied" He said slightly "Easy way out to to burn them off in your case"

Mizuki was trying to make a point to Thalion...any magic was good magic even when used in destructive ways. Mizuki leans back to sit down more on Thalions legs before he smiled and ince from Thalions face "Should I get real rope to practice now...?'

"He could but er.. you know.." Though his thought of trying to figure out something else to say was cut off as Mizuki said the best way to get out of ropes was to burn them. "You wouldn't... I can't even lite a match to hell with ropes, the last two times i even made anything happen was before the crystal and then a few days ago." This was hardly going to end well if he was going to really tie him up for this.

His ears went back a little when Mizuki seemed to move closer and asking if he should get the ropes or not. "heh.. can't we do this tomorrow... I mean i know why not today but..." He seemed to sink back a little, truth of it was he didn't really like magic much at all. He never told Mizuki that, but he had never had good experiences with magic of any type his own or not.

Mizuki saw the way that Thalion all but withdrawled into the couch behind him. There was something that the male under and infront of him was not sharing and that was not a good thing in the slightest. So Mizuki then let go of Thalions hands "Magic is not for everyone Thalion' He said speaking softly "Even if you posses you dont have to use it" He said slightly before moving and standing.

After that and the day he had the only thing Mizuki wanted was a bath "If you didnt want to or disliked the idea of it why not tell me instead of pushing it off...in the end it makes it worse...for me' With that he walked off to the bathroom ignoring the calls from Thalion for him to stop or return.

Once to the bathroom he closed and locked the door behind him. Running the water he sat there and sighed deeply before closing his eyes. Mizuki felt like the bad guy in this case. He felt as though he was trying to make Thalion do it because he wanted him to. In turn it ws the truth so it made the realization all the more painfull.

He looked away from Mizuki when he spoke, he did have reasons. He never thought that it would come back to bite him though. When Mizuki seemed to get up and speak again and then walk off. Of course he was trying to call him back. Not that the other listened to what he said anyway. He sighed heavily once Mizuki was out of sight.

He was going to talk to the other though the locked door prevented that. He shook his head a little, he'd try talking later. Instead of sticking around he walked back out of the house and went straight toward the training areas. Once he got there he quickly went about any form of practicing he could think of to get his mind on something else.

This was a mix of close range along with the bow. He just needed to do something. With Mizuki apparently not in a talkative mood there wasn't a point in staying there just so the other could ignore whatever he had to say. Even over these years Neimi still probably knew more about Thalion then Mizuki did. Thenagain she had pretty much been raised as a daughter by him given her age.

Mizuki sat in the bath alone with his thoughts. He knew a little of Thalion in present time but he raked his mind if he knew anything of Thalions past. Though when Mizuki drew a blank. He couldnt recall anything. Did Thalion not trust him enough to tell these things? Those were the thoughts that kept Mizuki occupied until the hot water in the tub turned cold. Getting out he dressed thinking it smart to go talk to Thalion.

Leavcing the bathroom he began to speak as he entered the living area only see that he was alone. Had what he said hurt the male to the point of him leaving? Mizukis mind swirled with different thoughts on how he should go from here. Thinking it best to give Thalion some time he didnt leave to find him instead he headed to the spare room that the house hand.

Walking into the room Mizuki closed the door behind him. Walking over to the bed he sat down before moving so his legs stretched out infront of him as he rested leaning on the wall. Seems it was meditation for him tonight.

Neimi came across a nearly furiously training Thalion as she paused a little. "Thal?" She questioned him. Her only reply she got was what from him, though he seemed to keep going with what he was doing. "Er.. right.. whats wrong now?" She said before moving to lean against a target that he was a about to hit. He stopped and flipped the blade around before lowering it. "My past haunts me is all."

She blinked a little listening to him. "What part? the stories you even said haunt me.." She'd never stand to live it. He shook his head a little at her question. "it seems I've upset Mizuki, again." She tilted her head at him before she moved from where she was leaning and started to walk off a few steps. "Guess you better go talk to him, you know most of the time he won't go looking for you. Dunno why your damn easy to find when your thinking." She laughed a little leaving him to his choice of what to do.

Was he really that predictable? Yeah she was right, he always came here if he was thinking. Fighting wasn't his only talent but it seemed to be the only thing people knew he could do. Sighing a little he put the blade up before walking back towards the house. Though he figured trying to talk would end him no where.

Once he made it inside and looked briefly for Mizuki he found the other in the extra room. From the looks of it he was meditating. He decided against trying to speak to him. Normally when he was doing this he didn't speak anyway, let alone being int he spare room was a good hint he wasn't going to talk no matter.

Mizuki heard as Thalion entered the room and listened as he moved about the house no doubt looking for him. Though Mizuki didnt move. Infact he found the meditation stage to advoid him. Mizuki knew it was because of the state he was in thinking about everything that ook place. How could a clear mind come if your mind was far from being clear?

When Thalion opened the door so see if he was still in the house Mizuki opened his eyes and peered at the male who stood at the door with it open. What was he suppose to do or say to get Thalions attention "...sorry" He said softly his pointed ears ipping back into his hair.

He had started to turn and walk out of the room to shut the door before Mizuki had said anything. Hearing Mizuki say sorry he stopped and looked back towards him. "For what?" He paused a moment before moving to lean against the door frame. Sighing a little he seemed to stare downward before speaking again. "I never told you did I? Theres a reason I'm against magic, it might sound like a excuse to you but hear me out anyway."

"Drow aren't common to this area, I'm sure you know this. In fact the race is rather disappearing. I can explain that too." He shrugged a little. "I wasn't always forced to travel with my parents, we had a home at one time. Before we watched some of our own enter into a enraged state and destroy everything and everyone within a matter of minutes.." He paused a moment before going on with this. "Magic doesn't mix well with my kind.. my father was a scholar and my mother collected relics of old. The only thing through both of their research that I found magic did for us was gave us the ability to heal. In most cases it just led to the one using the elements destroying themselves and whatever happened to be near them at the time."

He smirked a little remembering it before speaking up again. "Not that the matriarch did anything to prevent this, she let it go on till the clan destroyed itself." He shrugged a little, he hardly cared about that. "Even with knowing this my parents still went about studying magic.. hell if it weren't for the bandits kill my mother I probably would have either died or would have had to kill her myself."

His ears went back a little before looking towards Mizuki. "You want to know why I'm against magic? Because I don't feel like destroying myself, you can't tell me you have a way to prevent the enraged state that happened a few days ago. When I came back here the first thing Neimi asked me was if that was the second time." He'd leave it at that. He didn't care to know what Mizuki's thoughts were. Probably saying that he had things worse then Thal, sure he did. But he wasn't about to willingly kill himself or risk killing those around him.

He moved to walk away from the room to leave Mizuki to his thoughts as he walked out to sit heavily on the sofa. Truth of it was he missed everything being damn simple. It took only a few years for his own clan to destroy itself.

Mizuki sat there after Thalion left and thought of the drows words. Even though Mizuki and Thalion have been together for over two years he still did not now much of the other male so this sudden rush of information made him stop and think. Suddenly Mizuki felt guilty for trying to push magic on the other. In truth he had no idea about why he never wanted to learn or why he kept pushing it off, but now that he knew...

Mizuki after awhile stood up from the bed he sat on and walked slowly to the door. Leaving the room he walked down the short hallway until he saw the back of Thalions head his choppy red hair falling messy around pointed ears. Mizuki stopped and watched the other for a while before he moved again.

Walking over Mizuki bent down his long hair falling over his shoulder to cascade down Thalions chest as he wrapped his arms around the males shoulders and hiding his head in his neck he spoke softly "I...didnt know' He said before he tightened his grip "You dont have to learn anything...." He said in a muffeled voice "I...wont make you do anything you wish not to do"

He wasn't really expecting Mizuki to bother trying to talk to him for the rest of the evening let alone a few days even. So it was sort of a surprise when the other did walk over and seem to feel guilty for whatever had happened. Shaking his head a little he knew that wasn't a option. "I don't have a choice in the matter.. if i leave it be the same thing will happen that did not too long ago. It'll just be worse the next time around." He sighed a little knowing it was true.

"To admit it.. I kept all of that from you on purpose. The first day we fought even I had a dreadful fear of what powers you had. I knew you had magic, I just wasn't expecting to get caught." It was rather odd to hear that he feared anything, but this was probably among the top of his list. Though he had a right to fear it. He lost pretty much everything due to such powers.

"Can i get you to promise me something though.. " He seemed to grow quiet for a second before speaking again. "promise if something goes wrong that you'll take care of it.." He never explained it but he figured Mizuki was smart enough to figure it out. He just didn't want to go through with all of this only to have it destroy the very ones he was trying to even bother living for.

Mizuki was tempted to pull away as Thalion said he was scared of the magic he held. Well in truth Mizuki was scared himself. He knew a limit of the powers he held but whenever the time came when he used his full ability...he blacked out and never remembered what took place. That was why magic scared alot of people. It was something to be feared but he never knew Thalion had an issue with it.

Mizukis arms stayed around Thalion as the male spoke but they tightened even more when he spoke of 'taking care of it'. Mizuki knew exactly what the male ment by that he he hardly wanted to think about it let alone actually do it. Just the thought of that one day comming was enough to make Mizuki whimper "If....If that day came" He began before he placed a kiss on the males neck before he spoke again "I...would do it" Those words had to be the hardest things to say.

Mizuki did not want to even think of that moment but he knew that Thalion was right. The day would come it was just a matter of when. But Mizuki could push out the day make it longer by the training.

Moving his arms he pulled the other closer. If there was a cure for it he'd gladly seek it out. But as far as he knew there wasn't. It was one of the reasons his kind even died at such young ages for elves. With our without magic. "Heh.. it may never come you know.. " He felt like adding that might help Mizuki, he knew the other didn't want to think about it but it was bound to happen. Even Neimi knew that, she feared that day more then anything. The two of them and Raden were the only family she had grown up around.

Though even Mizuki had to know the words he just spoke were false ones.. it had happened twice already the third time would be it probably. It really was a matter of when it would happen and who would be hurt during that time. But he needed to try to let Mizuki work with him.. at least it could buy them some time, if it happened after the war was over he'd be happy with that. At least then everything they had worked for would be safe.
