You know how those go right? Stupid little pranks people play on you. Or at least they think it is little.

But the other night, I got a restricted phone call on my cell which I promptly ignored. They then called the home phone which me and mother both answered. And they were saying weird shit in a creepy voice.

Found out my friend's mother ran off with her cell phone and called multiple people. My friend is on probation and I wanted to call the cops. If that had happened, my friend might be having her probation revoked because her mother used her own phone to harass/threaten/etc people. Wouldn't that be lovely.

O.o see to me that seems less like a 'prank' and more like a 'crime' but I dunno, apparently lately I'm a crotchety old grumpy lady....
But I'm not really one for pranks in any form, so, probably a bad judge. As for stupid, it seems to be getting worse and worse. Either that or they're breeding faster than the rest of us.

That is out of line, in my opinion. If I were going to call and prank someone on my sons phone, when he's old enough to own one, then it would be silly things. It would be more like 'Hey, is your fridge running?' 'Yeah.' 'Then you should go catch it!' -Hang up-

So, yeah. I know it's lame but that's the most I would do if I wanted to mess with people. Though...if I were going to prank anyone it would be my own friends. I would have called the cops myself when I found out who it was. I'm a little surprised that your mother did not.

I use the word Prank loosely. Her mother probably considered it a prank whereas I consider it a reason to never drive her anywhere again.

I've had crank calls, one somebody had a Furby they apparently taught to talk dirty.
Then there's my brother and his whoopie cushion.

When I used to go on summer trips with my choral group, we would always play dumb little pranks on one another. We would put toothpaste underneath the doorknobs of each other's rooms, we'd smear sunscreen on the outside of the windows, and one time one of the guys filled another guy's suitcase full of oats! I think the best one, though, was when someone brought this tiny magnetic alarm clock and kept sneaking it into other people's rooms, having it go off at odd hours of the day and night.

I've had a couple malicious pranks played on me, though, like someone telling me a certain person likes me, and then after I've made a fool of myself in some way I come to find out the person doesn't even know who I am.

The worst one, though, was during a gift exchange one year. The youth group at the church I'd been attending was having its annual christmas party, and there was a white elephant gift exchange.

If you don't know what it is, it's where everyone buys a small gift with a price limit of ten dollars, wraps it, and doesn't put a name on it. Everyone gets a number, and you go in order picking gifts from the pile.

Now, all throughout the exchange people were wondering what this plainly-wrapped white box had in it. Whenever someone would go to pick it, this group of people would shout "NO NO NO! NOT YET!" and make them pick something else. When my turn came, everyone wanted me to pick the white box. At that point, a little red flag went up in my head, and I picked something else. When I'd sat back down, I saw the youth group pastor ask the group what was in the box. Someone leaned over and whispered something to him, and he had the box removed. That was the last we saw of the box.

Later on, I found out that there had been live rats in the box, and that the group that had been urging me to pick the box had wanted to see me freak out. That's when I stopped going to church.

Those kids are cruel.

But it would've been hilarious if you had wanted a pet rat. Or liked rats. Whatever.

But that's just horrible. I would've beat those children. You aren't supposed to be mean like that at CHRISTMAS

I haven't done any.... But my brother has.... Worst was a bullion cube in the shower head. His roommate smelled like beef for weeks

When I heard the term "prank call", I'm rather uncertain if the word is suitable. I mean certain prank calls have some threaten message, but if they're made by teens and kids, I'd consider it harmless prank calls. But when an adult was the one who's making those calls, it's more or less a crime, involving all kind of law crap being taken seriously. Must admit though, that woman has some problem.... stealing her own daughter's phone to make calls to unknown people.....

She does have some problem. Drug addict is one of them...and probably so many mental disorders...or one really bad one. But I didn't want to call the cops when I found out because her daughter is on house arrest (which I'm hoping she learns from) which means they could possibly blame her and she goes to juvie. It was her phone (in her grandmother's name) but her mother did it and if her mother didn't admit to it...she could go to juvie and I don't want that-I think people should get a second chance when the crime isn't violent.

I was freaked out until my friend told me her mother did it to other people apparently cause other people have been asking her about giving out their phones numbers and all.

Once I stuck a tomato in the seat of someone's pants while they slept, and they rolled over onto it and the next morning they freaked out... They had a nice warm gooey surprise in the morning >:]

I don't like pranks at all, they think it is funny to them but they don't know they are hurting themselves more then they are hurting the person they pranked on.
