Woohoo! I did the adult thing and actually called to schedule an eye exam!
Unfortunately nothing was open until the endnof the month, but I still scheduled for a late afternoon appointment and just have to remember to request that day off from Joann because it's a day I'd normally be working there.
New glasses just in time for the new year!

Finally got our tree and put it up! First year having an artificial tree but hey it doesn't make a mess and shed needles. And the cats don't pee on it! :D So far, anyway......

heh, i had to take our artificial tree down for those reasons. i had it up for a few years, i changed the garland so it was seasonal - flowers for spring, leaves for fall - and then in august we got kittens! and they LOVED to climb the tree and try to eat the lights. and my cat Blackie always was trying to mark it as his. so down it came. maybe next year when the kittens are a year and half. o_O

but yaay for your tree, kitty! :D
