Samuel turned around to face the other not really concerned that he was going up stairs backwards. "One of those?" He asked curiously. "even if I was "One of those" they would let me come cause I'm supposedly the dest damn engineer on Earth. Plus, I'm one of the few that can make a tower fully functional once it is completely assembled."

he grabbed the other's shirt as he stumbled on a step. "you are also a liability, an insurance hike and an accident begging to happen" he tightened his grip and pulled him down enough that they could see each other eye-to-eye "more so than that, if someone found out...." he trailed off as if to look for the appropriate words, he lowered his tone "it is easy for people to get carried away in a small place like this, especially with no-one to see"

Samuel decided to address each part in order. "I'm not a liability, I do my job and keep everything out of the workplace. Besides your the first person to figure it out even my employers have no idea." He gave the other a sarcastic grin. "Congrats to you."

he blinked. that was odd, had noone really paid enough attention, the man made no efforts to hide it, or maybe... he brushed the thought aside. "you are very dedicated or else they are very negligent" they cleared the stairs "will you let me fix your arms in peace or will you ruin my attempts again by removing them as soon as my back is turned?"

"I'd like to think the first one, but the second one is much more likly." Samuel murmered lightly. "And if you want the truth, I'll probably remove the wraps imediatly."

Samuel shrugged, "Is that not the point at some times? Pain to reminf you that you haven't fucked up bad enough to die yet." He does not get why Leslie is not getting it, it is rather simple. "A hasher reminder that no one is perfect." Suddenly he changed his tone and went off in a different direction. "Plus, wrapping the wound makes the recovery time longer and when it finally is unwrapped and left to touch the air it will get infected."

Samuel noticed the others surprised expression but ignored it assuming it to be fake. Because how could someone not understand? "Which is why you clean it out." Samuel pointed out. "And try not to reopen it to quickly and if you do to make blood flow out of it to keep the dirt out." Infections are not fun even for someone who like pain.

he nodded along hoping the other would not inquire of his silence, he walked around the other and up the stairs

Samuel followed the other woundering about the sudden silience but not commenting on it. "So any other lovely subject you would like to attempt to broach right now?"

he did not reply and was pleased for it. when they crested the floor he could see through the door his box, it was flashing. he grabbed the other's arm and rushed him to the box "shit" he triggered the camera turning quickly "sorry, i was taking the hostage to the bathroom" the voice of his comrade gave no hint that he was not pleased but leslie could feel it all the same "be that as it may, we have talked to the l un and the un, the l un will submit to our demands with no question pending the exchange of their hostage, the un however thinks further deliberations are needed before a choice can be made" he clenched his hands not realizing one was still wrapped around the other, he pushed his words out through his teeth "so that just leaves me and theodore on earth?" there was a pause "...no, theadore defected, that is why they are refusing now, they think you'll crack too" he was fit to scream now. "i understand, keep me updated" the box went dead.

Samuel looked between his captor and the bos then gave a sigh. "You and your crazy murderous politics. That is whhy I avoid the whole thing and I'm kind of surprised the UN even though about it. I mean, they have told me multiple times that I'm replaceable and I better not scrw up to bad. They may just be waiting for a bit of back up before blowing up these towers to get rid of us." He is just musing but he can't help but think of how it would feel to be blown up.

he quickly let go of the other when the man began talking "oh." he looked at the arm, the flesh was stark white but turning red and angry fast "you should listen to the news, towers are nothing but politics"

"Nah, there just bits of machines to me. Nasty politics for those who care." Samuel glanced down at his arms ands was surprised to see he had red marks where the other had gripped him. He have the other one a grin and said, "Carefull one of these days I might decide I like you abusing me." He ignored the part of himself that is indignant that he can't feel the pain.
