Something told Dark that someone was drawing near. They were alive and Dark felt that same tingle of relief he had felt earlier in the inferno. Then he felt the bitter could and no longer the relief. The cold's claws bit into him as it tried to rip him apart. Ice formed quickly and encased him, he felt the relief still but it was once again far away. the cold was persistant and would not let up.

the wind blew him away wrapping it's cold fingers around the boy leaving alexander stranded, he did not halt however for he was determined to find his lord and break him of these dreams as he had of the pain. only the glow of his crystal led the way but he had faith in it

Something had changed enough to set his dreams off balance. His dreams had always been the same before now. But now something was trying to help him and he kept being moved away from whoever or whatever it was. Dark could not really feel any of the cold anymore, his dream body having gone numb. He had yet to decide if this was bad or good.

on the horizon he saw a great man-beast trapped in the ice, even now at this distance it rang true as his lord, he took off at a run as fast as his feet could carry him, a single leap sent him air-born on wings of snow and a sword materialized in his hand

It was really close again. Dark could feel slightly more now and felt the same presence he had before. It was approaching him quickly and Dark smiled. He would finally meet the one who could heal in his world of nightmares.

his wings disintergrated and he fell the last couple feet to the ice-rock below, he did no know if he was to slay the monster or free it from the ice but he would do anything to-

the world grew pale and began to break away

he screamed curses to very god he knew

he woke up panting, the last of his abuses still on his lips. he found himself wrapped protectively around his lord, the other was wake he thought belatedly. he pulled the other closer and breathed in the smell of his hair and felt through him the hum of his crystal. 'i am sorry' was all he could manage

Dark awoke suddenly and heard Alexander whisper that he was sorry. "Wha?" Was all he could manage. Something was wrong but he did not know what. Dark was still grogy and a quick look at a clock told him he did not have to wake up yet. "Somthin' wrong, Alexander?" His speach was still slurred with sleep and Dark came to the relization that he must have thrashed in his sleep and distured Alexander. Alexander was sorry that Dark had been woken up even though Dark was the one creating the problem. "Sorr' Alexander." He said.

'no, no' he started quietly "it is not your fault, i am so sorry, please, sleep' he did not loosen his hold on the other.

"Uhm." Dark said he was pretty sure Alexander was lying or something. "Fine but if I start annoying you to much feel free to kick me." With that Dark snuggled into Alexander and was suddenly wide awake. Alexander felt the same as the relief in his dream, which ment Alexander was accidently wandering in and out of his dreams. "Be careful were you step, my dreams are a wierd place." Dark adivsed.

he stiffened instantly. his lord knew? 'is...that a command or a warning-empty-threat?'

"Neither," Dark said, "It's advice. The subconscious mind can't control where it is, so your mind will wander into my mind. I'm not going to try and stop it, I'm just warning you if you didn't already know." And from his last dream Alexander knew and had reacted apropriate. "Nothing to worry to much about."

so his lord had not found him out, he was relieved and relaxed. 'whatever dark asks of me i shall do' his words said volumes of his intentions though he was not sure the other would understand. and though dark drifted off soon after wrapped in his arms he himself could not follow and he waited impatiently for the day

Dark fell into a dreamless but still restless sleep that he was only half way into. He awoke before his alarm was set to got off anf carefully extracted himself from Alexander muttering an apology. He was heading for the kitchen, towards his lifeblood, coffee.

somehow in the wee hours of the morning a uncomfortableness settled in him and by the time dark had risen to sustain himself on morning nourishment it had grown to a pain. he padded after slowly giving no indication of his displeasure save for the sower pace

Once Dark had consumed his coffee he noticed something was wrong with Alexander. He did a quick think back and carefully discarded ones that it would not be. He ended up with needing to use the restroom and several deseases. "Alexander, do you need to use the restroom?" Dark blurted out and figured, once he heard what he had said, that he might need more coffee before he actually functioned correctly.
