I remember watching Barney and Power Rangers on the tiny black-and-white TV at my grandma's old office... Then I'd go and write poems on the typewriter.

I had the same intolerance for Barney as I did Elmo, I can't even pinpoint what it was but I could not be made to sit and watch either of them.

Don Bluth seems to feel the same way about nose bumps as I did when I invented Kurt.

I think his style is the one that has most influenced my Krauses.

Oh dear, Power Rangers, I got teased so much in Elementary School cause I have the same name as the pink ranger.

I liked Grover and Oscar,

I liked and still like pretty much anything Jim Henson, the Storytellers was a pretty great show and I liked that even more than I did the regular muppets.

Odd, I never thought of Demetri (however is spelled) being designed to look like a strong character, but then it's like "Gosh, now that you mention it..."
I love how much this man loves his creations. So much thought goes into every little part of them.

Also, I was starting to get pretty agitated at that pencil. It needed to be sharpened, and unsharpened pencils that are rubbing on the wood part just make me kinda scrunch up on the inside. :s

Some of the best puppets ever. This show and Wishbone were ones I particularly liked. Don Bluth films were also really big for me, All Dogs Go to Heaven and The Secret of NIHM being my favorites.

I think that's why I like his stuff so much, there's an organic feel to the characters that makes them seem lifelike.

And yes. DAMMIT DON BLUTH SHAPREN YOUR DAMN PENCIL!

Watch him Draw Rasputin, it's even better.
