Default Got a temper?   #1
Shoot....um I kinda just made a hole in the bathroom door, a dent in the wall, and my phone is preeeetty broken.

I don't normally lose my temper to this degree. How about y'all? What was it that set you off?

I actually do have a temper and it is very difficult to control myself when all I want to do is shout and curse up a storm.

Somehow I manage it though, being Italian and Irish does not help let me tell you. IRL I can be really damn loud when I am upset but I've come to realize that it accomplishes nothing but raise my blood pressure and upset my family.

Get into gaming, far less gets damaged. ha ha ha ha

XD basically everything and nothing, if i am in a pissy mood anything can set me off otherwise only broken electronics can set me off and i usually deal with that by breaking them farther, i have gone through more phones than my sibling(we are both accident prone) and i went like 3 years without breaking my first one while she gets a new one every 5-10 months

@Belial: I haven't gamed much for awhile. In any case i was TRYING to pay my cable bill over the phone. But the automated machine couldn't understand me and the reps don't want to put me on the bill for some reason. Instead i get a pin number- which I lost. And if you're not the account holder they refuse your money...I don't understand why they do that if I'm going to freaking pay. So I got stuck trying to talk to the machine during just one call and got angry enough to do what I mentioned in the first post. I FUCKING HATE THE AUTOMATED MACHINES AND I ALREADY HATE TALKING OVER THE PHONE TO BEGIN WITH ARRRRGGH
@Choco: i guess that's why i reacted so violently. This week has been a crappy week for no good reason. My mood is just piss poor and nothing really helps.

3 years for one phone? An accomplishment for young people everywhere! -nods-

Well I can understand bluntness but it does get a mite tricky without resorting to name calling or telling them to go die in a fire. (For example only, not directed at anyone but that fuck in Stronghold kingdom attacking my castle)

I remember riling up my grams as a kid just to here her tell me "up your ass with a meathook" in italian. I always thought that was so funny but looking back that was completely irreverent and mean. Especially since my grandfather had a triple bipass and had to calm her down.

I've had the same cell phone for five years, its a KRZR which I liked because it had a camera and I didn't know any better but it's what I can afford. I do lust after those Iphones though, however I'd be too afraid of those getting stolen.

Noone wants to steal a KRZR. XD

So it was a Nokia?

All kidding aside, not being angry when you are angry is a very difficult challenge. I grew up in a place where people would slam doors, cabinets, throw things, pull hair, ECT.

So I can relate how hard it is to be calm when all you want to do is explode. Sometimes even counting out ten to twenty breathes helps, other times a phone call to a friend will do it. As long as something is done to stop it before it gets out of hand, that's what counts.

I don't have a bad temper, and I'm usually not easily set off or ticked off.
To answer the question though, what makes me angry is when people don't cooperate with me. I'm a lone wolf, or a solo-flyer, and when I ask for other's cooperation, I take it really seriously. I want people to work with me, discuss with me, plan things with me, and do those things with me. If I don't, I get really mad and pretty pissed off. I usually start off by giving the evil stare and bitch attitude, then I use my sarcasm, and if push comes to a shove...I use my sharp tongue that will literally make them/those people hate me down to the last particle of my body.
How I deal with my temper though? I smoke cigs, or eat some comfort food (usually stir fried noodles). If I think I can't handle it, I would just lock myself up in the bathroom and cry.

There was one time though that I broke lots of things in the kitchen because my sister got to my thinnest temper veins. xD

What makes me rage when people are inconsiderate on easy things to see. Like say going out is for someone's birthday...I think you should tell them (no matter who's paying and all) that you are dragging someone with you especially if they aren't this person's friend. Or that the time to leave (AKA the time they're picking you up) has changed ESPECIALLY when they know you're cooking something for it.

I deal with it by yelling, smoking, bitching, hurting myself while I try to hurt the wall, stuff like that.

I usually deflect all my anger inward or I let it out on my significant other. But I'm a lot more likely to yell and rant or curl up and cry when I get upset than break something.

I have an EXTREMELY bad temper. I've broken my toe twice, kicking things in, skinned my knuckles a few times, caused .. err.. quite a few bloody lips.. NOT ON PURPOSE THOUGH. I've broken things, smashed things, I recently [as in, the last few months] got so upset I smashed my phone into the floor until it broke completely.

When I get pissed, I get scary. =/

Bald and loving it!
I have to say College was like the greatest drug for me. There were just so many nice people that there was no reason to get angry. But when i was in highschool I was a little ball of anger. Smashing walls, objects, punching people, stabbing people with pencils were among the few things I have done in a blinding rage. And frankly I am not as bad as my mom or my sister who, well it takes a little thing not to go their way and they are smashing heads against car hoods. My sister has gone to anger management and since then has calm down but there are times when all of us, well don't break our phones because that is 200 dollars down the drain, but a wall. That is fair game.

I'm generally very passive aggressive.
If something ticks me off, I keep it in until it gets too much.
But my mother can send me into a rage, very easily.
And my boyfriend, too.
When people dig their heels in and either don't listen to what I have to say, or don't listen to what I'm saying, it pisses me off.
I hate ignorance, and religion, which to me never seem to be far apart from one another.

When I get angry, I swear like a sailor and usually end up crying because I'm frustrated.

It usually has to be constant. Like.. if people keep waking me up. Neighbors are constantly loud. They keep stealing our mail. Cars keep almost running me over.

Um.. Disrespectful loud-mouths. People trying to pick a fight. People trying to hurt my loved ones. I just really don't like immature people..

I'm usually lonely and depressed, rather than angry and pissed off. But I do have a lot of mood swings.
