Default Feeling iffy.   #1
I've struggled with self harming since my younger teen years, and it's starting to get really bad. Can someone suggest something that might help curve the cutting desires?

And before someone asks why I don't ask a RL person, I have no one to ask.

Best advice I have is to do something creative, without having any purpose to it. If you like to write, get a notebook and just write whatever comes into your brain, doesn't have to be a poem or story or anything just literally "I should get peas at the store tomorrow I really need a shower" etc. Or if you prefer drawing, get a pen and sketch whatever comes into your head. That sort of thing. It helps me curb my own cutting desires sometimes.

Hm...I'm lucky enough to not have that experience, but I got close to it several times...Creative outlets are usually good. I do a lot of rage drawings, which usually turn into really emotional or monstrous pictures...

I agree on the creative front. I like to just write short paragraphs/scenes. I also enjoy drawing pictures as well. It's pretty much finding an outlet that works best for you - but using a creative one helps!

I went through this once before and have been clean for almost 5 years (give or take a few random relapses that I regretted right after doing them).

One thing that helped me was violent video games. I was able to take out all my feelings on the video game and it made me focus on that.

isn't that funny
basically distract yourself, my take on it is to go to a public library ask to be taken to the arts and crafts, pick up the first book that catches your eye and make something. even if it comes out bad or wastes your time it will take up energy and time and every once and a while it will make you happy and if you learn you like/are good at
