Perhaps "kagerou maboroshi" for that one ("kagerou" means "shimmer of hot air" or "heat haze", which seems appropriate).

Ah, then consider "maboroshi" instead of "genzou"; it still can mean illusion or phantom but also picks up "ghost" or "apparition" as possible meanings.

Anyway, "meikyoshisui" doesn't mean anything like what you expect it to mean. It actually means "clear and serene" by analogy with mirrors and still water. It has nothing to do with ACTUAL mirrors.

I would consider "shakunetsu genzou", which would literally be "red-hot illusion/phantom", with the word "shakunetsu" invoking the idea of a severe fever (the "blood fire" you asked for).
