I believe that you're thinking about the 12GB, dear :) . For someone who doesn't make a lot of videos, that's pretty good. Like me.
A good quality, 1 minute film could easily go over 100mb on the phone. There are 1024mb in a gb, right? At least 1GB is devoted to the software. Also, you have another kid who loves to film with your phone. So the phone is actually used by two people. I'd go with the 16GB for that case. Not too much, but not too low. I think right now that one may be around $500...probably not as much as when he bought it. It may drop to $300 once the new model comes out. My target is to make at least $200. If the phone is much higher than that, I may pitch in for more. ---Also, it is a pretty good baby shower gift too xP. Baby showers at the office I work at are pretty weak...sadly...maybe only 5 people ever get gifts for the father or mother, and they're usually cheap.

that still is under 200 dear

He uses the phone to keep in touch with his wife. He also uses the phone to take pictures of his family on the go, as well as take videos. You can't do that very well on a cheap phone. ---But it's not like he was expecting to lose the phone, ya know. That wasn't in his spending plan. But I'm sure he'd want to take pics and videos of the baby, as well as keeping in touch with his wife more easily than he can with a cheap phone.
