Default Spring Canvas [Art Freebies]   #1

Ah Spring! A time for cleaning, for allergies....and apparently cool prizes! However if any other Trisphites like myself feel too intimidated to try come on in here. This is just a place to hang out and maybe even get a cool drawing from someone (not necessarily me).

Come on in! <3

.: Completed Arts :.
Sei Better than my normal stuff. Also took some creative liberty with your avatar. Hope you don't mind. ^^;

It is Trisphites, you are correct. *nods*

...and you shouldn't be intimidated about winning prizes! There're contests for EVERYONE. xD

@Xiulan: Dark Elf eh? You must be familiar with the Drow Tales world :3

@Sei: haha I always get intimidated with art. The one I actually started on was the avatar, but I got tired of waiting for stuff to load ._."

Coolio, I really like that webcomic. Played the roleplay for awhile but not much money I have anymore.

I've only Played D&D online. The Rogue was the most fun for me. Playing the table top version I'd like to try thanks to another webcomic. But not a chance I will so I know no one who does...and any I find I hope are more casual than hard-core.

Most DnD table toppers are pretty lenient...those that are too strict rarely have a long-lived group. I usually like playing bards, they're tons of fun!
I've gone to look for myself, if I should return before I get back keep me here.

@Star: haha riiiiight. xD I think you're being sarcastic here but hey if you bend a bunch of rules for D & D, it sounds like how we play pokemon card games.

And yeah Inventor's dream...should be tweaked just a little I think. At least its color cause it hardly matches the browns on anything! D:

@Fey: I've heard stories of tabletop RPers who took their games too seriously. Before I even know what RPing was me and my younger brother basically did it, like many other kids, who played pretend. Only even into our mid-teens we would act out an impromptu story for fun.

I've been in a half dozen groups, over more than twice that number of years, and even the stiffest GM wasn't too bad. The lone one that annoyed me I got revenge on...I taught his Shitzu to purr...torque the anti-cat guy off enough that he loosened up over the game LOL Most GMs are just there to have fun. If you have a comic or gaming store you can ask around to see who's looking for more people.

hmm, not a bad idea that. I'll have to find out if we have something like that in my state/area though. I live in NC...even though I'm fairly close to an urban area I can't help remaining doubtful.

Also- Nice! How do you teach a dog to purr? o_O

I can't imagine you NOT having a place to find stuff at...there's lots of gaming stores in the state, as well as comic stores :)

As for how I taught the dog to purr...took a bit, and I suppose it's really just a pleased growl...but it was just positive reinforcement to make the noise I wanted when I rubbed it's tummy. Taught that GM reeeeeeeeeal fast not to mess with my character for no good reason.

actually it's probably not, I bet if you ask the staff they'll know people ;) staff in those stores are AMAZING for knowledge you didn't know you needed. I soooooo miss my old-old comic/gaming store. They knew everything, so I brought them ice cream as thankyous.

@Fey: haha there's a gaming store like gamestop of course. I should google it, but err I'm drawing another person and want to keep going while I'm on a rolllll :D

Still teaching the dog couldn't have been THAT easy. At least not if you don't know animals really well to begin with. ^w^ Had dogs all my life and three birds when I was like 4, but I can only remember crying when my parents convinced me to release them into the wild...

@Star: heh Magic. My buddy Demetri LOVES that game. Is trying to get me to hang out to play it but it's with the church group and...well I'm still Christain, just the people in the group I want to avoid. ^^;
