Nearly ALL of the shows mentioned I watched xD I had no life as a kid. If not at school I was doing one of three things:
1) Watching TV
2) Playing Pokemon on my Gameboy (remember when they used to require batteries? xD)
3) Playing "Show" as we called. (it's bascially LARPing but we had no idea at the time)

Comfortably Numb
Hmmm -ponders-

I mostly watched what my parents watched, so news and sitcoms.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, old Bugs Bunny cartoons, Mary Poppins (I knew it so well I'd act out the scenes and say all the lines as they happened XD), Cheers, Murphy Brown, M*A*S*H, Darkwing Duck, Rescue Rangers, Blackadder, Mr. Bean, Keeping Up Appearances (British comedy), The Smurfs, Frasier, The Sally Jessie Raphael Show, old school Oprah, The Arsenio Hall Show, late night shows (usually Letterman I believe), etc.

Reading through others' lists, I have no clue what most of those shows are XD

/shot for being too old.

Lots and lots of Scooby Doo. Probably not the most educational, but I loved the specials where the Harlem Globe Trotters came on.

Dazed
I watched a lot of discovery channel, the weekend would be Saturday morning cartoons, then the discovery channel Sunday show-case. I was disappointed when they stopped doing that... Crocodile Hunter was one of my favorites, when Steve died I was very sad. =( He was a childhood hero to me.

What else... Wishbone, Magic School Bus, Bill Nye the Science Guy, Angry Beavers, Pokemon, Monster Rancher, Digimon, Medabots (although the ending of that series confused me), Spongebob, Rugrats, Cat Dog, Courage the Cowardly Dog, I am Weasel, Yvon of the Yukon (not sure if that show played outside of Canada), and others I just don't remember right now.

Cartoons are awesome. :D

I watched a lot of sitcoms (Saved By the Bell, Family Matters, Cosby Show, Cheers, Boy Meets World, NewsRadio). My cartoons were mostly old Loony Toons, and some 90s cartoons like Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo, and Dexter's Lab. For a year or so, I watched Pokemon and Sailor Moon, but I grew out of that fairly quickly.

When the Animal Planet channel appeared, I watched it pretty much 24/7 (or, rather, 12/7 since it turned into infomercials in the middle of the night).

And I watched the old black and white episodes of Zorro.

I had some pretty un-childish tastes in TV when I was a child. xD

I didn't have cable back then, so I could only watch these chinese cartoons. They were pretty amusing, and helped me learn chinese, but the drawings were kind of ugly xD
