huh. i think my mum had a typewriter at some point.

also, apparently the max amount of tickets you can buy is 25. you have to exit out of the window and buy another 25 if you want 50.
percival is busy being queer as hell. he was also here.
somewhat busy working for trisphee.

My family used to have both a really old typewriter and also a more modern electric typewriter, which was loud AF, but was good for typing up papers for school before we could afford a computer...as long as you were very careful. It wasn't the best at erasing, so it was easier to just start the whole page over. Otherwise you had to pull the page out, use white-out, then try to get the page back in perfect alignment.

Our family's modern one was decent at erasing, but I still like the really old one better my mom once got me for my birthday - even though it was a pain in the butt to operate, the typed pages would look so much more unique. The modern (which nowadays belongs to my aunt) had a typeface that was almost resembling standard computer font.

I've never had a gramophone, but we always had a basic record player growing up (usually the kind that was a combo stereo system with a tape deck, radio, and more recently, cd player built in. In fact, I think my dad still has the first one we had when I was really little and it has an 8-track player in it.

But as an adult, I do not own any of that stuff yet. Though I would like to invest in a simple turntable eventually.

Say, I'm just curious how old you are - 30 years old here (1989). Just curious whenever I see people talk about this kind of stuff! :D

So fun fact, my dad has always had jobs where he's spent basically the whole day on his feet so when he'd finally sit down at the end of the day his feet would stiffen up and when he'd have to get up, he always sort of limp/hobbled until they relaxed a bit and I thought it was so funny to watch.

But yeah. That happens to me now. Especially if I have bad insoles in my shoes. It's not funny anymore.
