No not really, I just like think event items are nice presents for newbies. Inexpensive (Most of the time.) They can't get them anymore so they seem god like to them. And there is large quantity of them. (Not like there used to be.)

It's true, event items are way awesome. They're beautiful items, too. Users who join during events have it easy, they don't have to have nooby looking avatars for very long.
