on the way there, when we first started out, the roads were a little sketchy. once we got through the first (west-most) tunnel in the mountains, the roads were wet (not slick)... and then dry. they were better on the way home, but it was still cold.

Well that's good it wasn't anything too crazy or dangerous. Traveling alone can be stressful but if you add bad weather to it. People around here drive crazy in all types of weather.

You're reading challenge got me a kick now lol. Imma set a couple other challenges too with low goals but still better than nothing. I have three craft projects I want to finish sometime this next year and then reading make me think about writing and that is something I hadn't done in a while either.

So I think I'm going to set a certain number of: pages I want to write in BOS, spiritual or witchy books I want to read or reread, and then finish something I started working on in a Blog but never finished. Blog isn't really that active anymore but it's also something I eventually want to transcribe into my BOS. It's called 30 Days of Paganism where you write your opinion/ideas/views on a different subject regarding your faith everyday for 30 Days. Now, OBVIOUSLY I did not do this consecutively but I would still like to finish. It's a pretty nifty outline for anyone that's interested.

Oh I just meant alone as 'in of itself' just that travel in general can be bleh sometimes lol. I word things weird sometimes.

well, usually, no... i'm a pantser most of the time when it comes to writing- i write by the seat of my pants. but the idea that started in 21 i started writing out in 22 (and then the move said "meh, no writing this year") - it's kinda like an amazing race sorta scavenger hunt, so i need clues and places. i have character types as well. so the planning i'll be doing is coming up with the clues to get to the places. so i'll be a plantser - planning and pantsing. XD

That's understandable though, the move putting things off a bit. Also, I love the term pantser and pantsing.

That sounds fun though and a little bit of it's already laid out so should be helpful.

Ugh, honestly, kinda of crappy atm. In a low, the depression monster is rearing it's ugly head pretty bad. I may finally break down and talk to my doctor about it among just getting healthier in general. Ugh. Adulting. I have a lot going atm and it's just getting a little overwhelming. It'll pass, as all things do, just bughhhh. I really just want to sleep. All day urry day.

emails got cleared out, and now, of course, there's more. XD
i'm a Zero-InBoxer. it's challenging sometimes.

I'm the same or at least attempt to be, I don't like a bunch of stuff hanging out in my inbox. There are a few things I'll keep for a certain amount of time if I know I'll need to reference it quickly in like the next week or so but otherwise it gets sorted in a folder or deleted.

one thing i use a LOT with gmail is the snooze feature. so say i order something, and i get the email that says it's supposed to be here, say, Friday. rather than just keeping that email in my inbox, i'll snooze it to friday morning. or i have a family zoom that's sunday at 7 p.m. after yesterday's zoom, i snooze the email to next sunday at 6:45 p.m.

at the appointed time, the email pops back into my inbox, and when i'm done with it, i figure out what to do with it again. did my item come? delete it. does the item have a later date? snooze to the later date. stuff like that.

good for less clutter.
