the thing i love most about working for this site is being able to do all sorts of hair.
surprisingly, nobody got around to porting manes from my little pony.

Did try to figure out a good way to switch colors on the blankets but most of the info I found either involved weaving in a crap-ton of ends or doing the "invisible" knot. Which I can still feel so I don't like it. So I've got a different plan for it... >.>

Ugh. Invisible knot stinks. I generally just tie the yarns together, and then work the ends in... into the stitches as I work.

Tam: Yeah, I'm not a fan of knots in general so I usually go with the russian join. The only down side is that it works better when using the same color more so than with changing colors (as it's hard to get perfect color changes). But I have a plan that should get the color changes to be pretty close to perfect.

been making a lotta items for trisphee, gotta annoy the hell out of galla to see how well they take to the machine.

on the plus side, i've just been fucking around making some art for an old character of mine.

They're prolly a lot easier to work in with crochet than with your knittings. Speaking of which, I saw an S shaped blanket loom the other day.

Finished the first rows on my blanket so now I'm just waiting on my second yarn order to continue it. Which should arrive this week.

Tam: so there actually is a way to weave in ends as I work that I've used before, but it was on a much smaller project and with a different stitch. I might be able to do it with Derpy's blanket, but didn't want to try it on mine lol.
