For those of you who don't know, Dark Shadows was originally a 1960's day time gothic soap opera. The series is good, but I wonder what Tim Burton will do to it to create the movie. Anyone year anything about it? I think there was something about Johnny Depp being in it but that's all I've really heard.

I loved the show when I was in college, it was sooooooooooooooo bad! I'm bitter I never got to see it all, I should totally find it! And if Depp is in it...OMG!!

We watched a few episodes for Gothic Fiction. I can't wait for the movie.

...Funny how I haven't heard of half the mainstream movies....or maybe just because Espy doesn't do movies.

My moms got, basically, the whole Dark Shadows collection on VHS. At one point they also played reruns on the SciFi channel, BEFORE it was Syfy. xDD;

AND DEPP IS PLAYING COLLINS? Oh crap. xD; My mothers going to die.

Not familiar with the series, but if it's Tim Burton there's agood change Johnny Depp is involved, along with Helena B. Carter, at least one B-grade classic horror actor (cameo usually), and Danny Elfman.
