i'm dribbly, i need to be hovering over a sink

Ehhh yeah, that would be very unsettling and for sure bother me too.

Hence why I have a top floor apartment and extra long curtains that are almost never open.

Do you have curtains or blinds or anything over the window?

we only have cutsie kitchen curtains that don't actually close or block light, unfortunately

Try looking out the window at a back ally and a dumpster that people crawl into. *glad I've left that view behind* I think I'd be scared of living on the ground floor anymore, after so many years of living at least eight floors up.

Try putting baking soda and vinegar down the drain and then putting the plug in. I'm told it sometimes works.

honestly not sure we have any regular vinegar, either

it really is. we have similarly unhelpful curtains in the front and dining rooms, and because those are directly connected, there is just a gaping viewhole right through the middle of our house. really freaks me out at night.

I remember when my bathroom sink was clogged and I attempted the baking soda + vinegar method to clean it. Worked a bit, but not enough to make a difference.

It's been unclogged for a while now, though. But of course had to seek professional help. >.>
