Lol hi!
I'm kind of same. Very busy day. Heading to work now (4 hours at job #1), then have probably 6-ish more hours at job #2, if not more because we have a wedding rehearsal dinner at museum, which I'll probably have to clean up from, PLUS re-setting stuff for the ceremony tomorrow PLUS my regular cleaning.

The way the building is set up is:
Basement: class rooms (pottery and drawing mainly) Main floor: Galleries Second floor: rental space We have 4 long-term renters: yoga, belly dance, wilderness association, and human rights network and then 3 rooms and the hall, which can be used for other rentals. So we have baby showers, small weddings, etc on occasion. Unfortunately, since the person who used to handle all the rentals quit, it has fallen on me to do all the set-up now even though my job description was never re-negotiated. And a lot of the tables can ve really heavy and hard to move. I was there from 5:40pm to almost 1:30am doing my regular cleaning (4 hours) plus wedding set-up (almost 3 hours).

Um...well, as far as I can tell, I'm not allowed to claim any extra hours unless authorized/approved on a case-by case basis. So.....no. They don't.
At this point, if I work 6 hours, or less, I only claim my regularly scheduled 4. If I work 7 or more hours, I claim 5-6. And if the boss finally answers my question about how many hours I am allowed to work extra (if any) for rental set-up, that might change. But, with any luck, I won't have that job much longer anyway...

Trying to. It's not easy to find places that pay decently AND offer the hours I'm gonna need, but I'm going to be getting my resume typed up properly this weekend, which should open up a lot more options, since so many places now ask for a resume instead of having you fill out an application.

I just said bite, not eat. A warning against bad behavior, as it were.
