Alex, What like a Victorian/Steampunk themed rp, where magic and alchemy exist, but both are taboo in society's eyes and thus forbidden, unfortunately one/both of our rpc's are gifted with magic?

Hn... I like steampunk, but forbidden things aren't as fun as say.. being one of very few gifted with the ability, and people wanting the person as an asset because they have that ability.

Or kill them as a threat.

The last big rp I did, both characters were assassins, and they were partnered up without realizing that each others targets were well... each other. It was really interesting.

That does seem like an intresting plot idea

Yup. They were told who they were working with, the nickname/alias of their target and sent on missions together where they are told that their target will be. Which ironically, the target was always there, but they were always attacked by someone else anyway.

I am thinking something like a tainted land, where you can't take anything at face value.

What I was thinking, is sort of a world that has order, but there is something not quite right about it. Beneath the would be order, there is a secondry realm, a realm that isn't spoken of, in this realm nothing nothing is as it seems.
