How did you know what the numbers mean :o?

I'm not sure how to feel about the "at least" two hour delay xD

at the beginning of the year, when you bring home all the papers and stuff from your teachers, and the emergency cards your parents have to fill out and all that.... there'd be a page with all the emergency numbers for your actual school. then when there was a snow day, you'd have to remember what they were... or at least where you put the paper with the numbers on it.

it got a lot better once they also started saying school disticts as well.

That's really interesting! I wonder why they only announced numbers at first when they could announce districts later :o. Maybe it was faster--for the announcers xD?

Actually though, I don't think I've ever legitimately listened to a radio before :x

oh, I have no doubt a list of numbers was quicker to rattle off than names. I remember the numbers from when I was in school. By the time my daughters were in school, school closings were the names along a crawl line on the tv on the morning news.

That happened the day before yesterday (that I found them at least) So I have 4 babies!

This is beyond random, but I woke up because I yanked my nose stud out because I'm fussy when I sleep. It's only a month old and it will close or shrink within minutes if there's no jewelry in because it's still pretty fresh and healing. I paid $100+ to get it done so no way I'm letting it close. I ran into the bathroom and spent a good half hour trying to shove my nose stud in but it wouldn't go through...I was about to give up but it finally went in.

My piercing was red and aggravated but I got it in.

That was my awesome today.

Praying for no keloid bumps or infection. D:

My awesome today is having the ability to go to work instead of staying home on the weekend and being around things and people that never change and make me pull my hair out =3

I have power again! I can do my school work!

It went out Friday so we've been a couple of nights without power and therefore heat and running water. Thankfully my sister has an old wood stove so we kept up a good fire and could cook and boil water in pots on top of it, since the whole thing is metal.

Reading or doing work by candlelight sounds romantic but it is in no way practical. I have a big assignment due, so if we have no internet tomorrow, I'll have to call for help and scale the fence to get to clean road. My car is just now visible from the recent melt.

Today my boss sent me a message saying thanks for coming in this weekend and said he may possibly stop by and bring me donuts =O

Was wrapped up in the power outage, but Awesome from a couple days ago was finishing my current journal. On to the next one!

I'm sure between now and when I finish this one I'll have acquired two more. The stack never seems to drop.

I got a lot of sleep and might have done well on the history test even though I didn't really have time to study (overslept)! Huge emphasis on the might but at least I'm feeling okay about it!

I like Peridot. I have an antique necklace with two of them in it, with a couple pearls that look like a peapod in the design.

I'm visiting my mom for a few days!

Daily fail was that Wal-mart didn't have any machine needles for my sewing machine (friend broke one) but I did get some teeny tiny little paint sets that I'm putting in the goody bags for the art party my sister and I are having. Adults need silly fun things, too!
