"Cat Who..." books feature a reporter named James Qwilleran and his Siamese cats Kao K'o-Kung, Koko for short, and Yum-Yum. The first book in the series was written in 1966, with two more following in 1967 and 1968. Eighteen years passed until Jackson Braun published the next book in the series, and through 2007 a new "Cat Who..." title was published with some regularity. Lawrence Block once wrote in one of his Burglar books the rather facetious comment that the next book in the series ought to be entitled 'The Cat Who Lived Forever'.

So far there are like 34 books in all (35 if you count the one that hasn't been published yet..) but the story line.. there are 29 I think.. then the other 5 are like side stories and things

Pisces just gave me a good idea! Once I have the front set up, i'll put a form for people to make suggestions and then put them on the front so if you can't decide what to read you can look there.

So the author is Jackson Braun? I'll look and see if my library has the series. I think I could like them too. And they'll be nice to read while I wait for my Temperance Brennan novels to come over from the Rawlings library.
