[Takitae]

Azure looked over towards Asami, noticing that she would be on his team. He was a little worried about her, given that she tripped or knocked something over every ten minutes, but he would work with her on it since they would most likely be in these teams until the end of the year. As most of the students began to move, Azure watched Zeno make his way over to them, the Italian male giving off that vibe that he was certainly bad news, but the one who made Azure nervous was Taki, watching Saleen stand up to walk over to him to sit.

"So um, Asami, nice to meet you." Azure told her, smiling a little, wanting to get off on the right foot with his team, but he knew Zeno and Phoebe would be an issue as the both of them were already on each other's bad sides.

[Asami]

Asami smiled shyly at the blue haired male. "Uh.. yeah very..Nice t-to meet you" she looked away as the blush ebbed its way up her face. At that moment Phoebe sat next to azure, nonchalantness flowing from her every movement. "It is strange that the teacher would do this, is it not?" She eyed azure with her bright golden eyes that stood out against her tanned skin. Again her voice had a clipped sound to it. "Ah.. it is hot in here. Would it be okay if I were to take of my veil. My mentor advised me to wear it because she told me it might scare people and it is normal for my people to wear these veils, but mot in the warmth"

[Takitae]

Azure looked over at Phoebe as she sat next to him. "Well, I don't believe so." he told Phoebe. "We were placed in groups like these all the time." he told her before. "I think taking it off is alright. No one is stopping you." he told her before Zeno rolled his eyes. "I think there might be a reason the bird has her face covered, because no one wants to see it." he told her, smirking a little bit, making sure his hair was in order.

[Asami]

Phoebe ignored zenos comment and hastily took off the veil. Under it was a beak, sleek and shiny and it looked like it was made of pure gold. It should have looked weird but somehow where the skin turned into the beak looked like it was meant to be that way. It looked perfect.
"So that's why your voice sounds clipped when you speak" asami didn't mean to say that outloud and blushed when she realized she did.
Phoebe eyed her "yes. This is why" it was weird hearing words coming from a beak.
"Ah.. it is nice to have air on my beak."she rubbed it a little. "Back home it is colder because we live ontop of a mountain. It is very nice there."

[Takitae]

"Much better, right?" Azure asked Phoebe, smiling towards her and moved his bag off the desk so they all had a little bit more room. "So, Asami, you are a witch right? What type of magic do you specialize in, if any?" he asked her generally wanting to get to know them all a little better. Zeno on the other hand couldn't keep his eyes off of Asa's chest. "Yes, by all means, tell us about yourself, beautiful." Zeno said, smirking a little bit, sitting up in his seat to get a better look at them.

[Asami]

Asami blushed a little and mummbled something about her not being beautiful before speaking up "I specialize in offensives spell work like hexes. But I'm also very good with potions" she smiled slightly clearly not noticing what Zeno was looking at. Phoebe on the other hand did notice
"Hey perv. Keep your eyes up." She flexed her claws "or ill find a better use for them"
asami had no clue why she said this "what was he stairing at that was so bad?"

[Takitae]

"What better use could they be used for, hmmm, pigeon?" Zeno asked revealing his own claws, his blue eyes turning into a sharp yellow as he glared at her. "I'd put those dull little talons away if I were you." he whispered, pointing over to the window where a red line was pointed right at Phoebe, indicating one of his boys had her in his sights. "A-A-Anyway, I'm a lightning specialist." he told Asa, moving into the sniper's line of sight, and Zeno raised an eyebrow for a moment.

[Asami]

"Hmmm... little boy cant even fight his own battles." Phoebe smiled smugly (or at least that's how asami felt her face looked.) " my talons aren't dull either little pup. In fact they have sliced whole mountians in half" she looked at azure "no need to move into the line of fire little one. A mere bullet could not harm me"
asami shook her head "can you two please stop this petty arguement. We are supposed to learn about each other." She turned to reply to azure "that's nice. How do you manipulate the lightning?" She tilted her head slightly.

[Takitae]

"Keep telling yourself that, harpy." Zeno said, putting his feet up on Saleen's desk before the sniper's line of fire left, and Azure breathed a sigh of relief. "Well, it helps to try to concentrate, and focus your inner energy, like ki." he told Asami, smiling towards her. "Its kind of like a breath, focus the energy in, and then release it." he explained. "Though, most witches and warlocks have their own specialties. I'm not a very good hex or potion guy. I have no experience in those."

[Asami]

Phoebe made a sort of hissing noise at Zeno. Somewhere behind Zeno the harpie shot him a nasty look. "I will drop this nonsense for the girl." She waved at asami with a flick of her hand

"Oh wow. They never taught anything elemental at my middle school. Though ive read about it. Of course it takes a lot of power to control the elements. You must be strong." A note of praise in her voice. "I have a few theories and have experimented with rain and snow. Though never lightning. That takes skill" she nodded. "Potions are rather easy once you know the mechanics. I have brewed over 1000 types all yeilding the best results. And.. ive said too much" she blushed again. "Sorry I tend to babble... "

[Takitae]

Azure couldn't help but smile at the compliment, making him a little happy. He had worked very hard over the summer to get most of his spells down after graduating at the bottom of his class last year and was determined not to do the same this year. "Maybe you might be able to show me sometime how you do that?" he asked Asami, smiling towards her, before Zeno smirked, assuming Azure had a hidden agenda to it like he usually did.

[Asami]

"Sure!" Asami smiled "it would be fun. I could even help you on your spells as well if you wanted. I was told I make a great teacher. If you wanted we could set up a study hour after all classes are done or something " she blushed then looked at Zeno "so what about you?" She smiled brightly at him "its your turn to talk"
Phoebe chuckled "yes let us hear more about the infamous mob boss"

[Takitae]

"I would love that." Azure told her, blushing a little bit as well, but hid it quite good before his attention was turned towards Zeno, noticing the girls wished to know more about him. "What is there to know? I'm a mob boss. I extort, I blackmail, I traffic drugs, and I kill. Thats all there is to it." he told the three of them, not thinking it was a big deal at all. "Does that answer your question?" he asked them, cracking his neck a little bit.

[Asami]

Asami was taken slightly aback "well that wasn't exactly what I was asking but... okay then is that all you want us to know?" She tilted her head slightly. "That you're the bad guy?" She blushed at her statement and turned to Phoebe "what about you?"

"I come from a small island full of people like me but all different kinds. My best friend is half bird of paradise. Her beauty is matched by no other. We have a large mountain on our island where we all roost and learn. We are taught how to fly shortly after we hatch. Nothing beats flying. I am one of the few phoenix people left. We are a dying breed."

"Why is that Phoebe? Ive never even heard of your kind before.."

"Phoenix feathers are incrediblyrare and valuable . Some men have hunted us down just for our feathers and beaks and such. Everything about my kind is beauty and people want beauty for their own. Ah.. and our feathers are important in some potions are they not?"

Asami nodded. "Bit ive never done one that required them."

Phoebe nodded. "Like I said they are rare."

[Takitae]

Zeno looked over at Asami and nodded, smirking a bit. "Yes, if you wish to define it that way, I am the bad guy." he told her before looking over towards Phoebe.

Azure frowned as he heard Phoebe explained what was going on with her people, knowing all about poachers, and could only assume they would sell those golden beaks and rare feathers, and looked over at Zeno, seeing he was getting an idea of two in his head.

Though, Zeno thought about chopping that beak off to keep her quiet, he wished to experience the life of school for a while, so decided to play like a good little boy

[Asami]

Pretty alarmed that she was taking the role as the leader of the group and slightly embarrassed asami turned back to azure. "So what do we talk about now?" She looked around nervously at other groups who were talking animatedly or laughing or looking like they were having fun then sighed. "Why is this so hard...?"
