Have any of you guys heard about the notorious new "Emoji Movie" that's coming out? It's a kids' movie, and one with a very derivative and cliché plot at that. The comments sections for the trailers uploaded online are filled with nothing but hatred, and truthfully I don't blame them. Apparently a few seemingly better movies were pushed aside so that this film could be released, which is part of why everybody hates it so much. And you know merchandise for it will probably be everywhere once the trailers start airing on television, despite that it's the last thing that anybody above the target audience for it would want to see. It'll probably flop, or be forgotten once it leaves theaters if it is a success at the box office, but I want to know your opinions on the subject; even if it is a kids' movie, and most of us on here are probably too old for this kind of media, what do you guys think of it? Personally I don't want to see it, but for some reason I just can't look away from the trailers posted online. It's so bad it's almost fascinating.

i'll probably watch it, but my expectations are low. i'll be fairly satisfied if it's the cliched, overdone story that trailers suggest it will be. i doubt it'll be anything more than that, but you never know.

I might not watch it because the trailers make me cringe. Maybe on some really bored day when the movie's moved into Netflix or something.
