Xmas was awful and exhausting and I'm glad that it's over and I am home again now.

Oh amd DbM, I don't think I've actually messed up on the shawl. I wasn't sure, but once I got farther and could see the section better, it looks normal.

after talking to my mom, she said that hubby really ought to go to younger daughter's accepted student day - i mean, we only have two kids, and this one is #2. so he tells me last night, "okay, but i wasn't even asked." what... are you like 7??

anyway, i'll be making the reservations with him included, and we'll just go from there.

least xmas is over. i can't really be arsed to do the whole shebang nowadays -- roasts aren't that great for me.

And paid 69 cents. (Because with clearance/sale prices everything came up to $10.69 and I had a '$10 off a purchase of $10 or more' rewards coupon.)

vegetals are an acquired taste, and i can tolerate green beans.

peas, though? fuck peas. they have a crunchy outside and a mushy inside -- and that's not a nice texture!
