Not long later Don's father could be heard saying 'What?!' in surprise. Then there's soft foot steps as they creep down the stairs and begin making breakfast for themselves for a change.

"Yeah, we're okay." Vincent says, before yawning a bit. He's still tired. He may hear some muffled things, but his brain doesn't process any of it at this point. He just snuggles back up to Don, burying his face a bit as he tries to settle back into the gentle lull of sleep.
