Can we hose them down with sanitizer instead? Especially since it seems like everyone is giving up on wearing masks.

ugh that's now how your numbers will decrease!!!
Here the governors are deciding what to do with the cities in their state and my state was going to reopen some business, but only in cities with over 60% social distancing, and obviouly my city isn't one of them u.u STAY HOME U ASSHOLES

Pretty similar here. They even made masks mandatory only for the governor to overrule it. That's after saying he was going to let the cities/counties decide what's best.
