nothing more happened on the way back or once they were on the boat and feeling much less ruffled did not balk at the thought of going out a bit, "that would be fine and i would say the usual time, i did say we would be gone all day though, hopefully word does not get back that we are playing down here with the boats. i don't think she would like that much." giving a grimace at the idea he did another check and unhitched the boat from the dock before starting up. it had been years but it felt almost second-nature still and with not much thought to it he set it to gear and eased it out of the throng of incoming and outgoing boats

(he will be quiet until they get out of the warf)

Bald and loving it!
There was nothing much he could say as the boat made its slow movements against the waves. Since Zosa was navigating he draped himself over the edge of the boat and watched the water part with the bulk of the ship. Underneath the blue water he found specks of fish that dodged out of the way. As much as he wanted Zosa's happiness he wanted to be away from Greece. Things simply didn't make sense to him and he could not say it was the fault of being around strangers, after all the boy was comfortable around the strange people in Russia, and on the moon even the strangers on the Playe. But these Greek people seemed a different breed. When the boat finally settled. He did not wait for Zosa to return. Free from the Greeks he was starting to detest, the professor rolled off the edge of the boat and into the water.

he would be lying if he said he was not as much watching the other as he was watching the dash and he would most certainly be lying if he said he was not the least bit surprised that something bad would happen. almost the instant he had pulled his hands from the wheel the long sunburned body slipped from view and his heart stopped. lurching from where he stood he ran the few steps to the edge and threw himself off the side
