If we count past encounters (haven't been musically adventurous lately at all) then that would be Stone Sour. To this day I've only heard "Bother" but I really like the song. Stone Sour is the vocalist from Slipknot, which my sister was able to tell because she had seen the guy without his mask on.

The Miniatures, from my sister after she heard them at a local pub when we lived up north. They are more popular now though. "Coma Kid" is the main one I think, along with "Dragonfly." "Scenery Art" is not bad, too. I have those three on my iTunes.

Not so much a discovery as a re-discovery of No Doubt with my sisters playing "Spiderwebs" and "Sunday Morning" being in my head for most of the day.
