It's extra melty and with most anything heat brings out a lot more of it's flavor.

(~_~)Alrighty then, I'm not a fan of melted cheese, but last question: Why hot melted cheese served next to dessert?

:o Cheese for dessert. I've always assumed cheese was either served aside just as cheese-eatig-time, and that desserts meant sweet things. I guess it's not really that way then ^_^'

Dessert can be savory too!
It's a very versatile food genre.

xD your "egg-selent" pun made me smile. I'm not trying to find words myself though. At this point, I've started taking this thread as a chat forum with bonus snowflakes. Kind of like unknowingly stepping on treasure...something like that.

from what I know about baked brie, usually you put jam on top of it and then cover in in a pastry crust. The crust prevents the cheese from just becoming a runny mess.

A pastry crust? Okay that sounds nice then probably should try it some time, will probably get a better result than deep frying it.

Mmmm... Brie... <3
We had a cheese board last night for dinner <3 I had a whole wedge of Cornish brie to myself <3 It was so delicious ^_^ We are having the same again tonight but with Italian meats instead of Spanish, but I'll have to settle for French brie tonight unless my partner ventures out and gets me some more of the Cornish stuff <3 We are massive cheese fiends in this house <3
