Even though I had another mental breakdown last night, the worse yet. I got my phone case in the mail today and it was free. The company accidentally sent it out after I canceled the order the same day and refunded the money. They made the mistake and I'm happy with the pretty thing. A Van Gogh one.

There are two groups of anthropological linguists: Those who study and observe the development of language, and those who work to maintain a language. I found a copy of The Time Traveller's Daughter for $2 at one of my wife's favorite bookstores yesterday -- they carry used books, so they often have some REALLY amazing antiques. My wife picked up an astronomy handbook from the 1800s that's AMAZING.

Er. Wife. The Time Traveller's Wife. I got the title mixed up in my head with The Captain's Daughter, which I also have, which came up in discussion on Twitter a couple days ago because of the whole Sulu-sexuality thing.
